It's been a while since I've really had time to just relax and focus on one thing. This year has been extremely hard on me. Since April 2022 I VERY often worked eighteen hour days just to finish my workload.

I am finally done, but now my life feels a little empty. I had to push so many things aside so that I could focus on work, and now that I am done, I am constantly feeling guilty if I just sit and relax.

On a computer you literally push a button to refresh your screen and all is good. I just wish I had a start button which I can just reset.

I am completely out of balance, but luckily I still have this desire to become more centered. My complete reset has to start from within and I have to find the peace and balance again.

I have a few books here waiting to be read. I bought them last year and I honestly have not had time to start reading. There is nothing like a good book just to switch off my mind while being unplugged for a while.

My life revolves around the internet so it might be a good thing just to switch off the computer and television and use my time more wisely.

I hope you all have a very happy festive season and that you too have the opportunity to just relax and be unplugged for a few days. Unplugging will give you a chance to reflect and relax and just to catch up with actual living people.

Hey there, great to meet another South African on Hive. Wow, you've been around for some years here. And I only found you now. 

Well done for working so hard, now I recommend spending time posting a daily article. Journaling is very healthy and now that you have time, it pays to spend it on yourself, and journaling will help you to get in touch with your own thoughts. And you will grow your Hive wallet investments lol.

Indeed. A good fantasy book is like a teleport to another world.

Do you have a shortwave radio? Sometimes I make two-way radioamateur contacts, but nowadays I mostly listen to the conversations of others. It can be both relaxing, entertaining, and also useful, helpful, depending on the conversations. And sometimes I listen to broadcast stations too.

> I hope you all have a very happy festive season and that you too have the opportunity to just relax and be unplugged for a few days. Unplugging will give you a chance to reflect and relax and just to catch up with actual living people.

I do. In addition to talking on and listening on the radio, I am spending time mostly with my brother. Sometimes we listen to the radio together.
