<p>Going through the archives I realized I never shared these with you. It was not that I was unsure about these. The First Light Painting of this set is super cool. I did like it .. just don't know why it wasn't put onto the "posting pile". Anyhow after almost a year, now is the day to share this Camera Rotation series from a trip I had the pleasure to shoot with Svenschondenschon aka @lichtkunstfoto. Thanx mate these turned out so cool. </p>

<p>Einmal durchs Archiv und schon einen kleinen Schatz gehoben. Ich wusste gleich, dass das erste Light Painting super cool ist. Ich weiß nur nicht, warum es nicht auf dem „Posting-Stapel“ gelandet ist. Nach fast einem Jahr, jetzt ist es an der Zeit, diese Kamerarotationsserie mit euch zu teilen. Gemacht wurden die Bilder, bei einem Trip mit Svenschondenschon aka @lichtkunstfoto. Danke.</p>

<p>The principle is super simple. While you trigger you rotate the camera and light up the scene. The first shot is a continuous light painting where I first lit up the area and then rotated the camera in an accelerated movement with less and less light faster and faster. All that took 18 seconds. The camera was set to ISO 100.</p>

<p>Das Prinzip ist super einfach. Während der Belichtung auslösen, dreht man die Kamera und beleuchtet dabei die Szene. Die erste Aufnahme ist eine kontinuierliche Camera Rotation, bei dem ich zunächst die Schienen beleuchtete und dann die Kamera in einer beschleunigten Bewegung mit immer weniger Licht immer schneller rotierte. Das Ganze dauerte 18 Sekunden. Die Kamera war auf ISO 100 eingestellt.</p>

<p>This set was meant to have this cool hip record vinyl look that I was going for. I wanted an uninterrupted set of light trails with nive texture but fading away slowly. Thats why I chose not a step-by-step exposure. You see that in the images below. </p>

<p>Dieses Set sollte den coolen hippen Schallplatten-Vinyl-Look bekommen. Ich wollte eine ununterbrochene Reihe von Lichtspuren mit ordentlich Textur, die jedoch verblassen. Deshalb habe ich die Kamera in einer einzigen dynamischen Bewegung während der Belichtung gedreht. </p>

<p>For these I covered the lens for a moment before rotating the camera. Then 90° step rotation and open again adding some light and the next step and repeat.</p>

<p>Bei diesen habe ich das Objektiv einen Moment lang abgedeckt, bevor ich die Kamera weiter gedreht habe. Dann immer um 90° schrittweise drehen und erneut öffnen, etwas Licht hinzufügen und den nächsten Schritt ausführen und wiederholen.</p>

As I have shared with you in many of my posts about Camera Rotation. Yes, it is just what the name suggests. The camera is being rotated during the exposure, sometimes in steps sometimes in a continuous motion while doing so I also light up the scene.
