**Grúas**

Las grúas siempre han estado ahí erguidas en distintos puntos de la ciudad, pero a pesar de lo altas, majestuosas, aparatosas, vistosas que puedan ser, para muchos pasan inadvertidas, es así, por increíble que parezca.

En una época yo pasaba muchas horas en el auto rodando de un lado a otro, y por supuesto, fueron muchas las colas que me tuve que calar. Fue entonces cuando empecé a fijarme en una cantidad de cosas que antes quizás no me fijaba y fue así como empecé a prestarle atención (entre otras) a las grúas.

De pronto sentí como si estuviésemos siendo invadidos por grúas, estaban por todos lados y de distintos tamaños, formas, como con brazos, unas se movían muy lento, como cansadas, otras eran más ágiles, otras cargaban unos pesos descomunales, era una locura lo que estaba descubriendo.

Un día se me ocurrió empezar a fotografiarlas desde mi auto, cada grúa que se me atravesaba, grúa que fotografiaba.
Yo tenía un sencillo celular con una cámara no muy buena, así que debía sacar varias fotos para poder seleccionar una, además, recuerden que iba dentro de mi carro y el ángulo que tenía por lo general era uno solo.

Eso fue algo que verdaderamente me resultó muy divertido.
Siempre he sido amante de la fotografía y hace muchos años pude darme el gusto de hacerlo con una cámara “de verdad verdad”.

Ahora quiero compartirles algunas de mis grúas favoritas que espero les gusten.

**Cranes**

The cranes have always been there erect in different parts of the city, but despite how tall, majestic, showy and eye-catching they may be, for many they go unnoticed, it's like that, incredible as it may seem.

At one time I spent many hours in the car, driving from one place to another, and of course, there were many queues that I had to get stuck in. It was then that I started to notice a lot of things that I might not have noticed before, and that's how I started to pay attention (among others) to the cranes. 

Suddenly I felt as if we were being invaded by cranes, they were everywhere and of different sizes, shapes, like with arms, some moved very slowly, as if tired, others were more agile, others carried huge weights, it was crazy what I was discovering.

One day it occurred to me to start photographing them from my car, every crane that crossed my path, a crane that I photographed.
I had a simple cell phone with a not very good camera, so I had to take several pictures to be able to select one, besides, remember that I was inside my car and the angle I had was usually only one.

That was something that was really fun for me.
I have always been a lover of photography and many years ago I was able to give myself the pleasure of doing it with a "real" camera.

Now I want to share with you some of my favorite cranes that I hope you like.

*Me conmueven las grúas en invierno.
Parecen estar vivas y cumplir
su vértigo llenándose de grajos
que bordan en su acero un pentagrama*.

*La esencia de las grúas son las aves
de paso. Las cruces de este siglo,
donde todo se mueve, son las grúas:
inmóviles, calladas, imposibles*.

*Yo he querido ser grúa muchas veces,
recibir la nevada antes que el mundo,
los pájaros, los rayos matutinos…
y ser desmantelado cuando acabe
la obra en la que elevo humilde carga*.

*Las grúas son amigas de los pájaros.
Que vengan y se posen en mis hombros
mientras huyen del frío es mi deseo.
Que canten para mí, ser para ellos
el árbol más sencillo, pues apenas
un eje vertical y un brazo abierto
conforman mi estructura permanente.*
