Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Peanuts | Chicken stew with peanuts

_<div class="text-justify">Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am once again joining the weekly contest [Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Peanuts](https://hive.blog/qurator/@qurator/qurators-hive-top-chef-or-peanuts). I thought it would be interesting to cook with peanuts, what could I do, it occurred to me to make something with chicken, and yes, chicken stew with peanuts sounded good to me. So I already had the chicken fillets, the garlic, the oil, I just had to buy the onion, the star ingredient, and make a quick chicken consommé.</div>_

<div class="text-justify"> The peanuts I bought are salted, so I only used the salt to season the chicken. This is my first recipe using peanuts and I can say that it was a good experience because it turned out delicious.</div>

## Ingredients

<hr>



<div class="text-justify">- 220 grams of chicken breast fillet</div>
<div class="text-justify">-  1 onion (72 grs)</div>
<div class="text-justify">-  1 clove garlic</div>
<div class="text-justify">-  1 potato (170 grs)</div>
<div class="text-justify">-  95 grs of salted peanuts</div>
<div class="text-justify">-  1 cup chicken broth</div>
<div class="text-justify">-  2 tablespoons soybean oil</div>
<div class="text-justify">-  Salt to taste</div>

#### Preparation

<div class="text-justify">1.-. Cut the chicken fillets into small pieces.</div>

<div class="text-justify">2.-. Season the chicken with salt to taste. Then, put the two tablespoons of oil in a pot to sauté the chicken. Once ready, remove from the heat and set aside.</div>

<div class="text-justify">4.- In the same pot where we sautéed the chicken, cook the onion and garlic until they wilt a little.</div>

<div class="text-justify">5.- In a food processor, grind the peanuts and add them to the pot along with the onion and garlic. We also add the chicken broth and mix until there are no lumps. Then, add the chicken and the potatoes. Let it cook over medium low heat, covered, until the potatoes are tender.</div>

I like peanuts, but they can be a bit heavy for my stomach, so I try to avoid them and eat in small portions... I suppose that the amount you used in the recipe isn't that "dangerous" and I could eat it... Btw, the dish looks delicious and I bet it's very tasty!!!
