It's been about a month and one week since I resumed school for my first year. My initial thought was I was ready for everything mentally and physically the school will throw at me and also thought that with all the information I gathered from my brother who pass through the school I will be more than ready, with all the readiness and strong will I got in my tank it did not get me anywhere when I resumed.

The first week I came to school it already seemed things were moving fast and I felt far behind because of the messages dropping in the school group, but I did not bother and decided to go with the flow because I decided not to get cut up with the stress from school and do my things anytime I fell like because there is no expiring date in Uniben.

My course advisor had other plans of her own. The class rep sent a message to the group that the course advisor wants all her student to submit their record file so the HOD can sign them and if we don't submit she will give the HOD the one she has and tell him that the amount of student she has under her. I was like why the rush all of a sudden I had no choice but to comply and paid for the record file, walking around the school looking for who to sign the receipt so I can get the file.

The next day I submitted the record file and the following week it was given back to me with the HOD signature. Along the line I feel sick twice last month, I think a change of environment contribute to my falling ill. Fast forward to Monday this week one of my coursemates had an issue with his clearance and went to the HOD for assistance. The HOD explained to him the course he was transferred to should not be given to him because it did not meet the course subject combination for JAMB.

When he ask about others that have been clear the HOD said it will also affect them in their third year and the issue should be sorted out now. When he explained what the HOD said my head began to ache and anger was boiling inside of me because it did not make any sense was the person doing the transfer sleeping how was it any of my fault I was transferred to a course that did not meet the combination for JAMB.

Now my courses and I are currently running around to try and sort the issue out so we can get closure and know where we belong. The annoying part is we have to start from scratch and find other people who belong to whatever course the clearance office decided to put us in and collect their notes and buy new materials so we can catch up. I never in my wildest dream expect something like this to ever happen, but hopeful it gets resolved soon and I move on from it.
