You know one amazing thing about Hive?  It’s how people get to share their stories, real-life events, and not stories you can search the internet for. These stories are unique, educational, and inspiring.

I love how prompts and contests of communities bring out different sides of our lives that we didn’t even know existed.

Speaking about prompts, I love the Hive garden prompt for this week and I also love the Hive garden community. 
From the confines of my home, I have come to learn a lot from gardeners from different parts of the world.

Before this time, I had always had a certain perception about gardening. I saw gardening as a very stressful and tedious chore and the fact that you have to get your hands dirty made it worse for me. I could admire you and your garden from afar but it just can’t be me.

Joining the Hive garden community I have been privileged to meet real gardeners and see real gardens. People here give gardening a new narrative, they make it look so cool, less stressful, and very profitable.  If you think otherwise you can go through some posts in the community and you’d see what I’m talking about.





Seeing how these gardeners put in the work, and harvest real crops made gardening look real to me. It wasn’t far-fetched like I’ve always thought it to be, and the results of their gardening activities? Incredible!

My Aunt has a little garden but prior to this time all I did was praise her and did the barest minimum. Upon joining this community I got interested in not just planting but nurturing these crops too.

Hiveans in the Hive garden community make gardening so cool and fun. 
I get fascinated whenever I see certain crops growing in their garden. I remember the first time I saw a Hivean talk about growing and harvesting apples, I was so excited. We don’t grow apples in my country, we import them, so when I saw the “real apple tree” I was so happy.





I’ve read gardening journals of many gardeners here and seeing the progress in their garden makes me smile. When I see them use crops from their gardens to cook I always applaud them as not everyone can do what they are doing.

We have so many gardeners here with cool machines that make their gardening experience easier and faster. When you go through such people’s posts you’d want to start your own garden ASAP!! They make gardening look so easy with the multiple gardening hacks they share here.

When I read such posts I’m always like “There's more to this than hoes and rakes?😂





For someone who gets easily excited, the Hive garden community sure makes me excited every single time. I don’t post often in this community but I read most gardening posts and every one is inspiring and educating.  Sometimes I wish I could trade places with these gardeners, Hehehe😃

To every gardener out there who put in the work, I pray your harvest be bountiful and surplus, you all are the real MVPs!
