<center>**Introduction**</center> 

Crazy Taxi is well-knowed as an Open World Racing Video Game that was developed by Kenji Kanno and his team  at Hitmaker and published by Sega being the first game in the Crazy Taxi Series. The game was released first in arcades (1999) and then ported to other platforms like Dreamcast (2000), GameCube, PlayStation 2 (2001) and Microsoft Windows (2002). 11 years later the game was ported to iOS and Android too. This game became one of the Sega All Stars on the Dreamcast thanks to his popularity and also earned Greatest Hits and Player's Choice status on the PlayStation 2 and GameCube.

<center>**Gameplay**</Center>

Maybe you will think (Hey, this game is only about picking costumers and reach the destination for gain money just like a taxist) and yes, indeed that's the whole point of the game but while we are driving to the destination we can do a lot of things for gain extra money like stunts and avoiding to crash with other vehicles. Once we reach the destination we will need to stop in a specific place and the customer's fare will be added to our money earned, depending on how much time take us to reach the destination we will be awarded with a rating, however, if we run out of time the customer will go out of the car without paying us.

We can adjust in the settings how much time we want to play, the options are of 3, 5 and 10 minutes or we can choose to play with the arcade rules where we will start with 1 minute but when we reach the destination of a customer we will gain time to continue playing, so the more customers we carry to their destination, the more time we will have to keep playing until the time is over.

We can choose between 4 playable characters with different cars so choose your favorite and let the fun begins!

<center>**Soundtrack**</center>

The soundtracks, oh god, just imagine driving at high speed, fighting against the time, and listening to a powerful punk track giving you pure adrenaline to go and dominate the streets in that taxi... Yes, that's the best way I can describe it, it's just epic the way how those soundtracks completely fit with the game we are playing, credits for The Offspring and Bad Religion for bringing us those awesome songs.

Sadly not all the ports keep the same soundtracks but still the game is very enjoyable.

<center>**Personal Opinion**</center>

Honestly when I played this game I really don't understand why was so fun for many people, fortunately that was a lot of years ago when I was a kid and I don't had a good concept of what is having fun through playing video games. Some years later I played Crazy Taxi again and I don't know how I stayed like 3-4 hours watching the screen while I was literally crashing whatever was on my way and making stunts like a crazy man. I enjoyed too much how the game have mechanics that maybe at first glance are simple and boring but the more you play, the more you will have a fun time and even the bugs are fun to do.
Everyone should try this game, seriously, even if you are a person that gets bored easily (like me), you will have a really fun night, evening, morning, whenever you play this game you will just have fun trying to beat records, making hard stunts, surviving the arcade mode and with the minigames I'm sure you will have a lot of things to do before you are done with the game because the high replayability value it's a factor that this game have for sure.

Awesome game, nothing more to say, just go and give it a try but be sure you have free time because before you notice the hours will fly.
