<div class="text-justify">In my previous blog, I mentioned that we stopped at two destinations before returning to the city from our province in Balamban. After visiting Buwakan ni Alejandra, our second stop was Tops in Busay, Cebu. Tops is about 20 kilometers away from Buwakan ni Alejandra.

I have heard a lot about it since they had the soft opening. I saw issues from posts about how some people delayed going back to the city from Tops because the buses didn't come back for them, so they got stranded. It was during the opening phase, and people from the city flocked to the place. When we visited, we had our motorcycle. It was still early in the morning, and there were only a few people inside.

To be completely honest, I don't see the hype of the place. Although it's located at the top mountain and offers a view of the city, it wasn't what I expected. Perhaps, I was overwhelmed by the view from the previous spot I visited, or maybe it just doesn't look that good during daytime. The architecture is not bad. Tops is still under construction and food stalls around the place are not fully occupied. You can also expect the food there to be expensive.

Perhaps, it's better to visit Tops in the late afternoon or at night. I think it would look better with the city lights. Other than that, there's not much to do there. If they add other attractions or engaging activities, it would be worth it.

I remember this place as one of the locations where scenes from the KathNiel movie, Must Be Love, were shot. I still recognize this spot, and the flooring is what I like the most because it looks like a beehive.

I believe there's so much to improve in there. We'll just see how it will look over time and once the construction is fully finished.

By the way, here are the rates at Tops so you know what to expect. Also, the parking area there is not cemented yet; it is on a slope and mostly consists of stones, so just a heads up. There are buses from IT Park that will take you there if you don't have any vehicles. If you have plans on visiting Tops, I suggest delaying it because, again, the construction is not yet complete at the place and there are only a few food stalls currently open. And when you finally visit it, don't forget to bring jackets with you especially if you're not used to the cold breeze.

Although personally, I don't really like the place, I was still able to satisfy my curiosity. But maybe, just maybe, If I get to see it differently after a few months or so, especially at night, I may like and appreciate it more. I would think the entrance fee would be worth it if ever.
