Dear community of emotions and feelings, I am pleased to be able to participate in the second edition of this great initiative "express what you feel". Thanks to @aaalviarez , for these amazing pictures. I invite @naradamoon to participate.

Since I can remember I love animals and seeing this beautiful image transmits me the love towards them and the power of that feeling, this makes us realize how important it is to cultivate affection and respect towards all living entities. Animals represent the beauty of creation and how diversity makes them something to admire, since I was a child I have loved animals, even this is the reason why I became a vegetarian.

> Desde que tengo uso de razón me encantan los animales y al ver esta hermosa imagen  me transmite el amor hacia ellos  y lo poderoso de ese sentimiento, esto hace que nos demos cuenta de cuan importante es cultivar el afecto y el respeto hacia todas las entidades vivientes. Los animales representan la belleza de la creación y como la diversidad hace de ellos, algo digno de admirar, desde pequeña he amado a los animales, inclusive esta es la razón por la que me volví vegetariana.

I would like to share with you this story, besides it is inevitable to remember it at this time of the year. When I was about 15 years old my parents took me to buy the December meat, but on the advice of a relative they decided to go to a pig slaughterhouse, since the meat is much cheaper, I will never forget that feeling of emptiness and deep sadness, I heard the screams of the pigs and I could not stop crying. 

My parents seeing my reaction decided to get out of there as soon as possible, of course we never saw how they killed them, but we heard the screams of pain, when we arrived home they began with the preparation of the same and were very surprised when it was time for Christmas dinner I did not want to eat pork. From that moment I told my mother that I would be a vegetarian, she was skeptical and thought it was something for the moment and then I would pass, but it was not so over time this feeling of empathy, to feel the pain of others as their own only intensified and I did not eat meat again. 

> Me gustaría compartir con ustedes esta historia, además es inevitable acordarme de ella en esta época del año. Cuando tenía como 15 años mis padres me llevaron a comprar la carne de Diciembre, pero por consejo de un familiar decidieron ir a un matadero de cochinos, ya que la carne sale mucho más económica, nunca olvidaré esa sensación de vacío y profunda tristeza, escuchaba los gritos de los cerdos y no podía dejar de llorar. 

> Mis padres al ver mi reacción decidieron salir de ahí lo más pronto posible, claro nunca vimos como los mataban, pero escuchamos los gritos de dolor, al llegar a la casa ellos comenzaron con la preparación del mismo y se sorprendieron mucho cuando al llegar el momento de la cena navideña no quise comer cochino. Desde ese momento le dije a mi madre, que sería vegetariana, ella se mostró escéptica y pensó que era algo de momento y que luego se me pasaría, pero no fue así con el tiempo este sentimiento de empatía, de sentir el dolor ajeno como propio solo se intensificó y no volví a consumir carne.

At the beginning it was not easy, because my parents were pressuring me, they were extremely worried that I was not eating the way I should, but after my mom took me to the doctor, and he confirmed that it was okay not to eat animals and that I could live perfectly well getting my proteins from grains and nuts, everything improved. Because of this, my parents accepted my decision and respected my position, to this day I still maintain this conviction and I have not stopped being a vegetarian.

For me to love animals is fundamental and respect their right to life, but I clarify that I am not a person to enter into controversy or impose anything to those around me, I am a vegetarian by choice and I respect those who think differently. Even everyone in my family and friends eat meat, but far from criticizing or convince them of something that does not correspond to me, I love to cook when I have the opportunity vegetarian recipes that make their palates are filled with flavor and can appreciate the diversity of preparations that vegetarians eat, not as many think we only eat lettuce hehehe, nothing further from reality, in my case I am fans of vegetarian pizzas that my life partner prepares.

> Al principio no fue sencillo, porque mis padres me presionaban, sentían esa preocupación extrema de que no estuviese alimentándome cómo debía, pero luego de que mi mamá me llevo al médico, y  le confirmará que estaba bien no comer animales que podía vivir perfectamente obteniendo las proteínas de los granos y frutos secos, todo mejoro. Debido a esto, mis padres aceptaron mi decisión y respetaron mi postura, hasta el día de hoy sigo manteniendo esta convicción y no he dejado de ser vegetariana.


> Para mí amar a los animales es lo fundamental y respetar el derecho a la vida de estos, pero les aclaro que  no soy una persona de entrar en polémicas ni imponer nada a quienes me rodean, soy vegetariana por elección y respeto a quienes piensan diferente. Inclusive todos en mi familia y mis  amigos comen carne, pero lejos de criticarlos o convencerlos de algo que no me corresponde, me encanta  cocinar cuando tengo la oportunidad recetas vegetarianas que hagan que sus paladares se llenen de sabor y puedan apreciar la diversidad de preparaciones que comemos los vegetarianos, no es como muchos piensan que solo comemos lechuga jejeje, nada más alejado de la realidad, en mi caso soy fans de las pizzas vegetarianas que prepara mi compañero vida.

I am sure that the most important thing is respect for diversity, we are all different and the positions of each one should be respected. Just like children, we are the ones who must show that love and gentleness not only with animals but also with our fellow men. Love is a sign of affection and gratitude, so when we are in the presence of animals, we can only appreciate creation and see in it the magnificence. It is about seeing life in its maximum expression and with it, the need to preserve as much as we can, what it represents. 


When we are able to express love towards others we become better human beings, for me the important thing is to learn from the tenderness and warmth that children have, from that loving and respectful vision that makes us see in every moment the beauty of life. Our humanity is somewhat robotized and lately we only focus on technology without seeing beyond that, maybe it would be a good time to rescue that connection and thus contribute to create small moments that give way to happiness.

> Estoy segura de que lo más importante es el respeto a la diversidad, todos somos distintos y las posturas  de cada uno deben respetarse. Al igual que los niños, somos nosotros los que debemos mostrar ese amor y dulzura no solo con los animales sino con nuestros semejantes. El amor  es  una muestra de afecto y gratitud, por lo que cuando estamos ante la presencia de los animales, solo podemos apreciar la creación y ver en ella la magnificencia. Se trata, de ver la vida en su máxima expresión y con ella, la necesidad de preservar lo más que podamos, lo que está representa. 

> Cuando somos capaces de expresar el amor hacia otros nos convertimos en mejores seres humanos, para mí lo importante es aprender de la ternura y la calidez que tienen los niños, de esa visión amorosa y respetuosa que nos hace ver en cada momento la belleza de la vida. Nuestra humanidad está un tanto robotizada y últimamente solo nos concentramos en la tecnología sin ver más allá de eso, tal vez sería un buen momento para rescatar esa conexión y contribuir de este modo a crear pequeños momentos que den paso a la felicidad.

There is something implicit in this photo, beyond the apparent and it is the affection that all beings need, being this something necessary that moves us and drives us. I love the fact that we can give affection and at the same time feel it, so let us always be defenders of this and let us carry high the right to preserve every good deed and every moment where we show our humanity full of kindness.

I try to be affectionate with those around me and to transmit good energies, since it is essential to achieve that balance in order to expand the love around us.

> Hay algo implícito en esta foto, más allá de lo aparente y es el afecto que todos los seres necesitamos, siendo este algo necesario que nos mueve y nos impulsa. Amo el hecho de que podamos otorgar afecto y a la vez sentirlo, por lo que seamos siempre defensores de este y llevemos en alto el derecho a preservar cada buena acción y cada momento en dónde demostremos nuestra humanidad llena de bondad.

> Trato de ser afectuosa con quienes me rodean y de transmitir buenas energías, ya que es fundamental lograr ese equilibrio para poder expandir el amor a nuestro alrededor.
