Yesterday we played a quick game of D&D for an hour to get used to our new character Croot the Owl, and the dice she rolls in combat. It was good to get used to Croot the Owl, my new character, and the dice she rolls in combat, and to work on battle strategy before the real game. I also got to slay a huge white dragon of gigantic size, so it was a lot of fun to make the last critical hits.

I created my character sheet using the [D&D Beyond](https://www.dndbeyond.com/) website. If you are wondering why I am playing a character of the Owlfolk race, an owl. This is the answer;

I came across this drawing while browsing Pinterest and it's a character I've been dreaming of playing for a long time. And now I got a chance to play Croot and I immediately made my character. If you look carefully at my character sheet, you'll see that I'm level 16. But I'm talking about getting used to it because I started playing this character at level 16. Maybe in another post, if my Dungeon Master allows me, I will talk about our game, but for now, all I can share is that we all start at high levels.

Let's get to the details, I have mentioned in detail in my previous posts that this game is a dice game and it is played with 7 dice. Sometimes we need to roll a die more than once, for example, my damage dice are very much because I play a barbarian warrior. I am the damage dealer in the game. I'm also immortal, but I don't want to talk about my character now, maybe I'll talk about it another time.

Our fast game started in a random time and place. It was just a combat game. There were three of us, me "Croot" and my playmates Lavrin and Arduil. Lavrin supported us with his big eagle. Only three of us attacked against the white dragon. A cleric, a paladin, and a barbarian. We were like a death squad:DD

The timely natural 20s gave us a big advantage. I actually made a lot of mistakes at the beginning of the game, I forgot to add my hit bonus. I forgot to hit Reckless, so I didn't hit with advantage. But then the one that was wounded by Lavrin's damage. When we caught up with the eagle after the dragon that tried to fly away because it was hurt, I did 143 damage in total, 64 in my first attack and 79 in the second, thanks to the natural 20s I rolled twice in a row and Arduil's Holy Weapon spell casting on my great sword.

If I explain in Role Play. A 50 cm tall owl, a tiny owl, hit the right wing of my flying dragon with a sword as big as it was, so angrily that the wing separated from the dragon's body and started to fall to the ground. The dragon staggered and could barely fly in the air. Croot launched a second attack, somersaulting over the dragon's head and striking its left wing, which was also severed, and the dragon fell to the ground and crashed to its death. And the end. Hahaa, I'm so cruel but that's the game :DD If it wasn't for the natural 20, I would probably be filing the dragon's nails with my own sword :D

Dün 1 saatlik bir zaman diliminde yeni karakterimize alışabilmek için hızlı bir D&D oyunu oynadık. Yeni karakterim olan Baykuş Croot'a ve kombatta attığı zarlara alışmak ve savaş stratejisi oluşturmak için gerçek oyun öncesi bu oyunla çalışmak oldukça iyi oldu. Ayrıca devasa boyutta büyük bir beyaz ejderhayı öldürmek bana denk geldiği için son kritik vuruşları yapmak çok keyifliydi..

Pinterest'te gezerken bu çizime denk geldim ve uzun zamandır oynamayı düşlediğim bir karakter oldu. Şimdi de Croot'u oynamak için bir fırsatım oldu ve hemen karakterimi hazırladım. Eğer karakter sayfama dikkatli baktıysanız 16. seviyede olduğumu görürsünüz. Ama alışmaya çalıştığımdan bahsediyorum çünkü bu karakteri 16. seviyede oynamaya başladım. Belki başka bir postta, eğer Dungeon Master'ım izin verirse oyunumuzdan da bahsederim ama şimdilik tek paylaşabileceğim, hepimizin yüksek seviyelerde başladığı.

Geleyim detaylara, bu oyunun bir zar oyunu olduğunu 7 zarla oynandığını eski postlarımda detaylı bir biçimde bahsetmiştim. Bazen bir zarı birden fazla kez atmamız gerekiyor mesela benim hasar zarlarım çok fazla çünkü barbar bir savaşçıyı oynuyorum. Oyunda hasar verici taraf benim. Aynı zamanda da ölümsüzüm ama şimdi kendi karakterimi anlatmak istemiyorum belki başka zaman anlatırım.

Hızlı oyunumuz rastgele bir zamanda ve mekanda başladı. Sadece kombat oyunuydu. Ben "Croot" ve oyun arkadaşlarım Lavrin ile Arduil üçümüzdük. Lavrin büyük kartalı ile bize destek oldu. Beyaz ejderha karşısında sadece üçümüz atak yaptık. Bir Cleric, bir  paladin ve bir barbar. Ölüm timi gibiydik :DD

Vaktinde gelen doğal 20'ler bize büyük avantajlar kattı. Aslında oyunun başında çok hata yaptım. Hit bonusumu eklemeyi unuttum. Reckless vurmayı unuttum bu yüzden avantajla vurmamış oldum ve sürekli karavana atışlar yaptım. Fakat sonra Lavrin'in hasarlarıyla yaralanmış olan. Canı yandığı için uçarak kaçmaya çalışan ejderhanın peşinden kartalla yetiştiğimizde iki kez üst üste attığım doğal 20'ler ve Arduil'in great sword kılıcıma Holy Weapon büyüsü castlemesi sayesinde ilk atağımda 64 ikincisinde 79 totalde 143 hasar verdim.

Rol Play içerisinde anlatacak olursam. 50 cm boyunda minik sayılan bir baykuş kendi boyu kadar bir kılıcı o kadar öfkeyle uçan ejderhanım sağ kanadına vurdu ki, kanat ejderhanın bedebinden ayrılıp yere düşmeye başladı. Ejderha sendeleyip havada zor uçar haldeyken. Croot ikinci atağını ejderhanın kafasının üzerinde takla atarak ilerleyip sol kanadına doğru vurunca, sol kanadı da kopan ejderha yere düşmeye başladı ve yere çakılıp öldü. Ve son. Hahaa, oyunca çok zalimim ama oyun bu :DD Eğer doğal 20 gelmeseydi, kendi kılıcımla ejderhanın tırnaklarını törpülüyor olurdum herhalde :D
