Maybe this is not a very big collection, but in short, it is a very valuable collection, at least for me... It all started when I came back from my trip to Spain, there I had a coffee with two good friends, who gave me that Kindness Rocks that you can see next to my new laptop (yes, new laptop). I told them that I needed a new work tool, my day to day at Hive was very complicated with the old PC, and although I have always preferred desktop computers, again I have opted for a change of routines and habits.

Le dije a ellos que necesitaba una nueva herramienta de trabajo, mi día a día en Hive era muy complicado con la vieja PC, y aunque siempre he preferido las computadoras de escritorio, nuevamente he optado por apostar al cambio de rutinas y costumbres.

I am no longer a man who stays at home for long periods, now work makes me leave home many times, even travel, either to my hometown or to Europe ❤️ but I can't stay away from the web 3 for long, not when there are so many personal goals in mind, so a laptop was the perfect acquisition and investment. Yes, I told my friends in Spain that I was planning to buy a new computer soon, but I didn't think it would be practically upon arrival. After making so many posts on my mobile visiting several cities a week and returning to Caracas and experiencing the slowness of my old PC there was no more doubt, the time had come.

Después de hacer tantas publicaciones en mi móvil visitando varias ciudades a la semana y volver a Caracas y experimentar la lentitud de mi vieja PC no había más dudas, el momento había llegado.

There is a difference between the desktop computers I have had since I was a teenager and my laptops. I don't know what will become of so many monitors, keyboards, mouses, cornets and other gadgets I've had, I don't even know what will become of the CPUs themselves; they are all going to die, even if they are my favorites... Laptops were never the most ideal thing for me, and in fact they were more familiar, anyone at home could use it, but they have something hypnotic that makes me keep them even though I didn't use them anymore and they are outdated, so without realizing it I have created a collection of laptops, and I didn't know it until I acquired the third one almost two months ago.

Las laptops nunca fueron lo más ideal para mí, y de hecho eran más familiares, cualquiera en casa podía usarla, pero tienen algo hipnótico que me hace conservarlas aunque ya no las usé y estén desactualizadas, así que sin darme cuenta he creado una colección de laptops, y no lo sabía hasta que adquirí la tercera hace casi dos meses.

This is my TOSHIBA, it is not the first computer that came to our house, but it is the first laptop. I'm pretty sure it was one of the first ones that came out, it was created in the 90's and in fact to this day it has Windows 95 installed and is fully functional 😵‍💫 Before the pandemic, after my gall bladder surgery I still used it to play solitaire and even played movies that I downloaded evidently on other computers. It still does all that, it's not slow despite its age, something that speaks very well about this brand, but it's still obsolete, doesn't access any web sites and only works when plugged into power. Not only did it stop being used because other equipment has arrived at the house, but the screen is already very moldy inside and it is annoying to see it, even to play solitaire. It is impossible to throw away my companion of the 2000's, it was many years of Aventura, since it arrived at our house in 2001, just when I was starting my adolescence.

Aún hace todo eso, no es lenta a pesar del tiempo que tiene, algo que habla muy bien sobre esta marca, pero igual es obsoleta, no accede a ningún sitio web y solo funciona cuando está enchufada a la corriente. No solo se dejó de usar porque han llegado otros equipos a la casa, sino que la pantalla ya tiene mucho moho por dentro y es molesto verla, incluso para jugar solitario. Es imposible botar a mi compañera de la década de los 2000's, fueron muchos años de Aventura, ya que llegó a nuestra casa en 2001, justo cuando comenzaba mi adolescencia.

Our second laptop is a SIRAGON, wow, what a beauty of a computer 😍 I say ours because it really belonged to my dad, although everyone at home could use it. It came to the family in mid 2013, just before I moved to another city, so I almost didn't enjoy it like the others, but wow it has been my faithful companion every time I visit my dads house, even until this last Christmas since for some years now there is no desktop PC at home and this is the only one that has survived. It has Windows 10, works perfectly, here I started on the old Steemit and now I curate content on Hive when I'm visiting my hometown, it works very well, but it must be connected to the power always. I thought it was still pretty fast, but now that I've known glory with my new acquisition, I feel its devaluation over time...

I think Jhoxiris is already jealous of it 🤣 if I'm not in the coral, I'm most likely sitting in front of this beauty. It's an ASUS TUF GAMING, and yes, I'm not a gamer 👉👈 but as you'll see, it's the first laptop I'm buying with my own money, and I had to get a computer that wouldn't be bowed down by the two previous ones that have had a useful life of at least a decade and are still like the living dead nowadays. It is perfect, I think it was released in 2022, I installed Windows 11 and it is much faster than me. The keyboard is a delight, the keys glow in various colors, perfect for my usual early morning cures. The only thing I don't like is that the material it's made of makes it smudge on my fingers, but nothing that isn't easy to clean.

Es perfecta, creo que salió a la venta en 2022, le instalé Windows 11 y es mucho más rápida que yo. El teclado es una delicia, las teclas brillan de varios colores, perfecto para mis acostumbradas curaciones en la madrugada. Lo único que no me gusta es que el material con el que está elaborado hace que se manche con los dedos, pero nada que no sea fácil de limpiar.

I just had my first year in my new apartment and we still don't have internet service, I do everything with my mobile internet, so it's not easy to stay active day by day in the community, but working with a fast team has changed my life, it was my best investment, and in fact there is a lot to discover and explore in it. I still haven't had time to edit videos, record covers and many other projects I have in mind, but I have the peace of mind that the tool is already at home and it just needs me to unburden myself from my daily doings. With it I have completed a small collection of three pieces of equipment, all very meaningful to me, because they represent a special moment, plus they are beautiful ❤️

Con ella he completado una pequeña colección de tres equipos, todos muy significativos para mí, porque representan un momento especial, además de que son hermosos ❤️
