 Coexistence is a competition. It's always difficult for people to seek to establish equilibrium, unless, they're truly dedicated to their fellow humans. 

Loyalty is a mirage when it comes to survival because even people you trust will throw you under the bus when their survival partially requires them to do so.

 It's difficult to have people who will think of other possibilities for survival if the only imminent choice is outright betrayal. For example, a group of people are starving and at the brink of death, then suddenly one person in the group gets $30. 



### Scarcity Isn't The Mother Of Greed

*It's a default nature*

This person wouldn't want to share this money with the rest, even if they've indirectly been responsible for his/her survival before they got that money.

 Immediately this person gets this money, the urge for betrayal kicks in, and they want to abandon the group, despite how they've depended on that group for a long time. 
This is purely human nature. People would agree to coexistence when the resources are minimal on all fronts, but immediately it shifts in their favor, they don't consider helping others to attain the level as well, the first thing they want to do is abandon the others. 


> ### This is why people might be in joint partnerships, but each individual seems to be chasing their own goals to the detriment of the goal of the whole. 


**People often blame survival as the reason for betrayal. Rather than seeking answers different from betrayal.**


 In life, people are addicted to the easiest of choices, especially when it bears no direct consequences for them. The problem is a lack of loyalty.



### Loyalty: A Price Is Always Hanging By The Thread

Most of the time, a person's loyalty to you is dependent on how far your support system carries them. The moment they break free and earn a little independence of their own, the value they see in you automatically diminishes. 

This is why people see more value in the $5000 job advert they see on TV than the $1000 job they have at hand, even if they've not tested the potentiality of the former. 

Sometimes the value people see in you is determined by the freedom of choice they currently do not possess. This is why it's hard for them to seek another choice other than betrayal. 



### Stability Is The Goal


Let's face it, it's hard not to face betrayal when it comes to survival. Sometimes, we're hoping the people we're vested in when our circumstances are favorable, wouldn't abandon us when their circumstances get favorable. 



One of the reasons why we see the advantage of coexistence is because we want to establish stability. After all, life wouldn't continue to be favorable to one person. One of the things I've tried to do in life is established trustworthy friends because my life requires and depends on it. 



### Equality Is Not A Feature Of Survival


Now one of the things I try to achieve is a relationship where we all benefit, but recently, I've had people in the group throw me under the bus when it was time for them to show me the commitments I showed them, and their reason for betrayal is survival. 

For the past few days, I've been addicted to making some calculations. *"If "X" happens in the space of "X" what is the probability that "X" might or might not happen?"*.

 It's hard to survive betrayal, especially when you're not built to be the lone man. Life gives us different survival enablements. Some people have it better than others.




### Equilibrium Is An Illusion When It Comes To Survival's Game


 Some people would forever be indebted to the loyalty of a person, and when they get swindled by these people, it becomes really tough. However, the reality is that it's in human nature. Instead of people choosing to establish collective equilibrium, they'll rather choose to multiply their position.

 A lot of people are selfish and greedy while playing the "survival card" and this is because of the idea that resources are limited. People can actually choose to be better when it comes to the survival game.


 But one of the reasons why it seems as if resources are limited is because some people want to have more than others, therefore, creating greed-based scarcity. I've once again been reminded of this harsh human reality and it's so saddening that your loyal gestures to others, don't endear you to them.
