>Hello friends of Hive Collectors. At the beginning of this month I felt nostalgic while browsing this community while reading the initiative proposed by @mipiano about puzzles. I have fond memories of my childhood because putting together puzzles was one of my hobbies. The first one I had was of the Mad Bird.

>Besides, this hobby was part of my world from an early age since my mother's professional field was Psychopedagogy. The puzzles were a means used by her to work with children who presented difficulties in cognitive processes and attention.

>So, I've spent the better part of a month trying to put together puzzles to participate in this initiative and couldn't figure out how. But I still believe that the planets are aligned in my favor. I work as a teacher in the Psychopedagogy career and we are creating the conditions to set up our psycho-pedagogical laboratory. We want our students to work with children with learning difficulties.

>Enthusiastic about this project, my students started to look for and elaborate means for the laboratory. Among them, they looked for several puzzles. Not very traditional, to be honest, but they meet the necessary conditions for laboratory work. Moreover, even though they are rustic, they are also beautiful.

![IMG_20240326_100953.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/jrobe/Eokea2yndDwNiCeRZLNfS6iR5v4VFFPDEXNPmS7spVkSvttZEypDhUHEYmhFZdL8fqu.jpg)

>The first version that I present to you consists of a kind of cardboard blocks. On their faces there are several puzzles. Four to be precise. They are drawings made by my students. According to the particularities of the age of the children with whom we will work: primary school children.

![IMG_20240326_101046.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/jrobe/Ep3foFDCMXXoyrT5r2C3xLyKRbY1FLzyaSGY9pZwUcpvRXdFte2i6LGWHWHf7RKse3X.jpg)

>This type of puzzle may seem simple but it is only an illusion. There are only four pieces to put together, but the difficulty is that with each face of the block a puzzle is formed. So there are four puzzles in one set of blocks.

>Another type of puzzle used in a laboratory is the Tangram. This Chinese game is relevant for stimulating children's cognitive processes. In addition, it also motivates them because it involves forming figures, usually of animals, with pieces of paper.

>These puzzles were downloaded from the internet by our students. They are teaching aids that they intend to use with the children who come to be seen in the lab. Right now they have not cut out the figures, so they should be ready to be used.

![IMG_20240327_154801.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/jrobe/23u6HrbUUbrv68wf17rmgeWumMfUCUaWf7ocidNaDhEqLUF4ocM4evYAMF8kcgr9QVQe4.jpg)

>As a sign of how enthusiastic the students are about the lab project, they have even bought some puzzles to donate. One of them is in 3D. This one is a representation of St. Basil's Cathedral and I actually tried to put it together and had a hard time! I had never worked with such a puzzle before.

>I found it challenging and even though I needed help I loved the construction. From my point of view this is a very complex exercise because you must have a well developed spatial logic vision. It is not only about putting pieces together but also about projecting the relationships of the pieces in space.

>After learning about this type of puzzle I am very interested in solving these models. I have presented you several models, some of them elaborated in a handmade way that not for seemingly simple do not cease to be valuable.

>Thank you for your company until the end, I leave you a friendly hug. I hope you liked the post and who knows if you dare to build one of them. The one with the blocks for example.

![IMG_20240326_100953.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/jrobe/Eokea2yndDwNiCeRZLNfS6iR5v4VFFPDEXNPmS7spVkSvttZEypDhUHEYmhFZdL8fqu.jpg)

![IMG_20240326_101046.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/jrobe/Ep3foFDCMXXoyrT5r2C3xLyKRbY1FLzyaSGY9pZwUcpvRXdFte2i6LGWHWHf7RKse3X.jpg)

![IMG_20240326_101154.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/jrobe/Eos2mcyhVBgU6iv5XkysR3hpatM6gcGSmJFFpPasSqJ2ipX3DLL7BnXjFhK7vmKSgum.jpg)

![IMG_20240327_154801.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/jrobe/23u6HrbUUbrv68wf17rmgeWumMfUCUaWf7ocidNaDhEqLUF4ocM4evYAMF8kcgr9QVQe4.jpg)

Awesome those puzzles, the handmade ones are also very nice and not at all easy to do, but they are a really creative and nice way to help children with learning difficulties, and also for adults who have an inner child haha

I loved them, they are very original and funny ❤️
