In Which We Catch a Squirrel

Just a quick little mid-week post to make you smile. I've been working more on photographing animals, it's definitely one of my weaker areas of photography. But I got lucky and managed to capture this little guy last year in Yellowstone. I think one of the grandkids accidentally scared him, and he scrambled up a tree trunk and hunkered down into this little nook, where he kept a watchful eye till the coast was clear.

Squirrels may not be the most exciting of beasts, but sometimes they do make for adorable photos, and while I still need practice, I was personally delighted with this one.

Hopefully I'll get better! LOL
