**What is LBI?**
The LeoBacked Investment (LBI) token is the first of its kind, the 1st token to be valued completely in LEO. Each LBI token represents a percentage ownership in the overall fund including all LEO, HIVE, off-chain and wallets operated by @lbi-token. The goal is to provide a community based and ran investment vehicle focused primarily on the LeoFinance community and LEO token. We provide a weekly LEO dividend payment to all token holders whilst also increasing the value of the LBI token slowly but consistently over the long term by only investing into things that will stand the test of time. 

LBI is a long term HODL token based on SPI's model. Because these tokens are backed and valued in their primary assets, the value only increases. Think of it as putting $1000 in the bank and earning interest. In theory, you should never have fewer dollars. The $1000 is the LEO you give us to buy your LBI token and the interest is the earnings we produce with that LEO.

Earning this week are on par with what we have been earning the past few months. LEO curation is way down and getting around 300 LEO per week seems to be the new normal, this represents an APY of 7% which is sort of.....not great considering it's our biggest holding. HIVE content is our biggest earner again, with LEO curation coming in 2nd and LEO content coming in 3rd. Because the bulk of our income comes from HIVE, most of it HP we have little meat left over in terms of liquid funds after dividends are issued so it's hard to make new investments are reallocated funds to increase our earnings. We could x3-x8 our earnings of all holding were available for reallocation.

Not much change in the LEO wallet this week. I undelegated and redelegated 3000 LEO power for this months LPUD winner. From our 100 HIVE powerdown, around 40 were converted to HBD and the rest converted to LEO. We added 50 HBD to the savings wallets again and now have a balance of over 1000 HBD which is awesome. Next week is the last powerdown so i'll start a new one for the same amount of 1300 to pay us 100 HIVE a week. We seem to earn around 100 HIVE a week which is perfect as whats being removed is being replaced. 

Still planning to list our UTOPIS for sell but i dont like selling when HIVE is not stable because HE prices lag. The plan for these funds will be to reinvest into either BRO or EDS tokens. Both pay HIVE dividends, EDS div is 28% but itstoken is pegged to 1 HIVE and BRO's div is around 8-11% but it's token value should increase. We could 50/50 but it's not alot of funds and we're better just taking what is best for us.

Everything is down a little bit on last week. Im sure you've seen over the past 24-36 hours that the markets have been crashing. LEO is down alot as well, it's been maybe our worst performer this week hence why our % changes from last week are showing as a plus. 

At this point, I have no idea what to expect over the next week in the markets. I still believe we are in an overall bear market and this current pump is a bounce from the massive crash that happened 2-4 months ago with the ETH merge pumping it. For our holdings, im happy with what we have and happy to either compound down EMP and build a stable token LP on CUBfinance.

LBI token price is way up this week, infact 2.16 LEO is a new time high so 100% of wallets should be in profit (in terms of LEO). The total fund is worth more than 500,000 LEO this week which is amazing and i hope it stays like this for a few weeks. Next stop 1 million? 

My main problem with LBI at the minute is their is no real use case for powered up LEO over than using it for earn curation rewards. Where's the passive income options? why has nobody built everything yet? How hard would it be to create a delegation to upvote bot? with 50% of curation earnings going to weekly LEO giveaways? Not that hard. Someone in the comments this week said about LEO Lions NFTS. I've spoken of this before and still think it's a good idea. Would be easy to integrate delegating LEO into a rewards program for the NFTs. There are 100 things can delegate HIVE POWER to for some sort of financial gain, why not even 5-10 for LeoFinance keeping in mind, that we are a financial community all about that money? Another thing to note is that 9/10 when you delegate to something, that delegation might stay in for years meaning it's sort of out of current circulation, locked away. 

Anyways, there's a few things to think about. This week has been a mixed bag, the overall market is down but we are worth more in terms of LEO so...win? Have a great weekend everyone and fingers crossed the markets turn this week.
