The Impact Leofinance Is Having
Sometimes we need to step back and look at the bigger picture.

Obviously, LBI is heavily tied to Leofinance and all that is taking place on there.  We have a lot of reasons to be excited, with the latest being [the announcement of the first Initial Decentralized Offering](https://leofinance.io/@cakepop/usdcakepop-token-launch-strategic-partnership-with-cubfinance) taking place next week on Cubfinance.

This is presumed to be a benefit to LBI since we have a stake in Cubfinance and are building that area as one of our holdings.  Those involved in CUBLIFE always could benefit.

Nevertheless, to fully appreciate the impact we are witnessing, it is vital to look at things on the individual level.  What are we doing for everyday people.

Leofinance is a place to post about cryptocurrency and financial matters.  A lot of what ends up posted really is not of great value.  However, we do see some posts that really educate people and help when with some financial ideas.

When this happens, people start to think differently.

Here is one example:

This [article](https://leofinance.io/@metzli/who-is-in-charge-of-your-money) by @metzli shows a situation she found herself in.  Notice what she did.  While the opportunity to utilize the HBD savings program did not pan out, the important matter is that she thought about it.  Instead of simply defaulting to a common method of paying off a bill over time, she considered her options.

Certainly, we have no idea whether this had anything to do with Leofinance or not.  Nevertheless, as we post more ideas, experiences, and concepts, others can learn from them.  The financial education of the regulars is increasing.  This provides them incredible opportunity to change their financial future.

If this situation could have worked out for @metzli, she might have netted about 25 HBD.  Naturally, this is not enough to make a significant difference yet, as they say, it all adds up.

The key point here is that it would have been a financial gain simply by here taking a few minutes to look at the situation and operate a bit differently.

We have another example.

This is by @ecoinstant how posted [how to print money with Hive and HBD](https://leofinance.io/@ecoinstant/how-to-print-money-with-hive-and-hbd).  It is something that @silverstackeruk might want to take a look at.

The premise is to arbitrage the high price of HBD since it moved higher than its peg.  With it being near 1.2 presently, we are seeing a chance to scalp a few percent with little effort and minimal risk.

We can all see the details in the article but the key here is that a 4% gain is likely to be realized over 3.5 days.  That is a sensational return.

What is interesting is both these articles were posted **within the last hour**.  We do not have to dig too far each day to find gems such as these.

[Leofinance](https://leofinance.io/) is having an impact upon lives.  LBI is a part of this since that is where we built our platform.  Each day, we provide support to the Leo ecosystem by posting articles such as this as well as curating.  This is generating a return for those Leos who opted to participate in LBI.

The effort it to help grow people's wealth over time.  Many of us arrive at Leofinance without many resources and less financial education.  The fact that we are taking people by the hand to help them grow their holdings while also showing them how long-term wealth acquisition works is extremely valuable.

Certainly not every situation is going to apply to us all.  The opportunity that @ecoinstant offered up is not going to be utilized by all.  However, a lot of money is made by arbitraging different currencies.  This is just one instance where the opportunity exists on Hive (albeit requiring the use of an external exchange).

We all know about the recent release of [leasing of Leo on Leofi](https://leofi.io/lease).  This is something else that LBI was one of the first to take advantage of.  We got a number of leases out for 12 weeks, earning a net of about 17%.  This is not setting the world on fire but it did help to support the ecosystem which is providing so much to a large number of poeple.

This is how LBI was designed.  We are here to utilize Leofinance to best grow the fund while also being one of the major components of its ongoing success.

We will continue to do our part to keep the platform growing and making it stronger.

I couldn't agree more how Leofinace is impacting everyone here in a good way. I have learned so much here already and have bene like a sponge in some areas. Just getting involved in the various projects that are on offer will make you decent returns over time.

Come for the opportunity, stay for the community.  That's basically what happened to me.  When I came back to Hive after the drama from Steem, I immediately got involved with LeoFinance based on the recommendation of the lone surviving contact I had from my Steem days.  It didn't take long to realize that this community is one that is going somewhere.  Whether it takes a year or ten years, the people here truly believe in the power of the network effect and the power the community brings to the table.  We have the luxury of having some benevolent whales in taskmaster and onealfa (to name a couple) who lead by example and the goal is not about making as much money as you can.  It's about *everybody* growing together and making as much money as we can as a community, pulling as many people with us as possible.

This is why I am so excited to be part of LBI.  I plan on being here for another 10 years so watching it grow and collecting dividends every week is something I'm going to grow very used to.

There are so many things happening and believe me I got so many great opportunities just by being here on the platform. Learned so many things and got to know some of the greatest people. I have never been involved so deeply in crypto even though I wanted to. Maybe due to the lack of like-minded peers. Joining Leofinance was the greatest decision of this year.

We are witnessing an era where things are getting bullish on hive. Exponential growth of @splinterlands and if 5% of those end up using blogging and other platforms on hive That would be a hell of difference in short term. @leofinance keep on building and exploring new classes in Defi is really a game changer. Also other small projects and things popping out now ad then. I'm rally excited  and proud of HIVE/LEO/Splinterlands community bridging  gaming, defi and censorship.

## Being a Leofinance reader is 100% the reason I was able to know enough about finance to even consider looking at money the way I do now. 

The writers here should really be called financial coaches. 

I tried buying finance books when I was younger and most of the information just went over my head. 

I saw the writing that said "if you are in debt, pay your debt off first." Well, not to brag, but at 25 I had a life crisis which lead to a financial crisis and over 100,000 in debt plus horrible credit. 

It took me years to climb out of that hole, and all the finance books told me that I could not build any wealth until that hole was all patched up. 

## On Leofinance I learned that this was just not true. 

*Finding places that earn more interest than the interest you are paying is the way to go*. 

*Earning trickle income to invest is the way to go*  

*Investing time when you don't have money is the way to go* 

*Investing in teams and ideas is the way to go*

*Learning the system and finding the loopholes that help your specific situation is the way to go*

You are not helpless, you are not a victim, there is a solution and there is a way. 

All these things I learned on Leofinance

How to read charts, simple jargon, reading between the lines,which means that now when I read finance books, I understand what they are saying.

It all adds up indeed. I've been on Hive for 8 months only and even less than that actually participating as one should and I can already see a huge difference in every aspect of my life on the blockchain.
