We heard about it. We read about it. But thus far, it is like something out of a fairy tale. It is impossible to believe. That said, we should not doubt #ProjectBlank. The most recent AMA by Leofinance revealed that we are going to get the "White Book" released within the next week. This is going to give people the opportunity to read all the details of what is planned for Leofinance. It is safe to say this is an epic publication. Where people tend to release White Papers for different projects, Leofinance has a book. Anyone who followed the AMAs and posts by Khal over the last couple years knows he has a lot of ideas. The bottom line is that it has a chance to be the first Web 3.0 application that can be a game changer. We often hear of the ""killer DApp" yet have not seen it. #ProjectBlank could fill that role. To start, recent updates to the Leofinance Mobile application show the progress of LeoInfra. This is the middleware between Leofinance applications and the Hive blockchain. What this is doing is now allowing for access using Twitter, Google, and Facebook sign ins (I believe all are live now). This removes the age-old issue of people having to deal with keys to utilize Web 3.0 applications. Of course, to collect rewards, one needs to claim the account. Nevertheless, this will help people to get started and not be overwhelmed from the onset. The second major benefit to this application is the fact that the learning curve will be near zero. From what we are led to believe, the layout is similar to Twitter. Anyone who used that application will be able to instantly use #ProjectBlank. In fact, it is likely it will be easier since we are going to see a MVP to start. Here we see instant access using tools people are accustomed to as well as almost no learning curve. This removes a lot of the resistence. Why would anyone use #ProjectBlank? Here is the key "selling point" and why the talk track is so easy. This application allows people to use Twitter, even employing that account, while posting to the blockchain. This means that all Tweets will be permanently recorded on Hive. How many times did we see someone lose years of data simply because their account was closed? We know the tactics centralized social media is employing. The goal is for more people to utilize it as a frontend and, ultimately, concentrate on that. In the meantime, people are able to retain their information in being shut down by Twitter occurs. There are a lot of people either who were displaced, or potentially could be, by the social media platforms. All of these individuals are potential users for #ProjectBlank ### The Benefit To LBI All of this can be exciting news for LBI. In fact, this is one of the accounts will benefit the most. From what we know so far, unless it changed, the #Blank airdrop is based upon LEO holdings. LBI is one of the larger holders of LEO according the richlist. This means that LBI will be one of the #Blank holders. What is the advantage of this? To start, it is a Leofinance-based application. The main difference is this is not focused upon just finance or cryptocurrency. Instead, it is a general use application catering to whatever content people are interested in. Just like Twitter, this appeals to everyone. #Blank is a Proof-of-Brain token meaning that LBI is able to keep growing its holdings through curation. Starting with one of the largest accounts makes LBI an instant #Blank whale. This is a great way to garner more attention as the project curates activity on that platform. We also have to engage in some speculation here also. It is not very risky since the tokens will received via airdrop as opposed to purchase. The question is how big can this get and what will the value of the token become? This is hard to say especially since we do not know what the tokenomics look like. Thus, we have to wait for the details regarding that. Nevertheless, if the application is a success, this will provide great value to the token. The important factor is that LBI can keep increasing its holdings via curation. Once again, activity can increase the return on our investment. Many of us are looking forward to the release of the White Book. It is likely there will be delving to see what is discussed about #ProjectBlank. Hopefully we at least get the name so we can start getting that ranking in web searches by posting it all over the place. Either way, there is a great opportunity for LBI with #ProjectBlank. It will be very interesting to see if people jump on board. Getting people away from centralised platforms really seems to be a difficult nut to crack. I look forward to seeing what sort of integration can be created to peoples' Twitter accounts. I am hoping it will be a mirror of posts to start and when Twitter decides to delete the users account their fans already know there is a backup and then the migration will start. I believe Twitters censorship will be great marketing for Project Blank. As an LBI holder, it will be great to have the team being explorers of this new frontier on our behalf. It's been a long time coming but it looks like there might finally be a light at the end of the tunnel. It will be very interesting to see what the tokenomics look like. It would be nice if there was some way to integrate a Leo sink into the project, like 3Spk is doing with Hive. Not knowing much about coding and tech, I have no idea if something like that is feasible or even possible, for that matter. But it would be nice to get this *right* coming out of the gate so that it builds value for the LEO token as well as ProjectBlank. Either way, I'm hugely excited about what it will mean for LBI. I just really hope that it will essentially turn Twitter into a front-end of Hive. From what I understand, the Blanks will be on the front end (black.io or whatever). This, of course, will be tied to a mobile applications. The front end is tied to Hive, hence all blanks are on Hive. You can read them through hiveblocks but the true way to see it will be through the front end. The posting to twitter is like blog posts are done now. They are posted on Hive with a copy shared on twitter. I would imagine this will work in a similar fashion. The technical issues with Blank were more severe. Cubfinance was a lot easier to build since it was using BSC and not having to change anything. The reality is, for most blogging is hard work and even skill. On the other hand, short bursts of info and data-based content are more attractive to a larger audience. I think it will actually take off a lot faster than many expect. This however may prove to be a concern.
