THIS is why this shit needs to be implemented slowly.  There is ridiculous amounts of money at risk here.  Granted, many millions of the dollars are crypto gains but still....they are now *real* dollars.  Extreme care needs to be taken to make sure those funds are as safe as they can possibly be.

This is the wild west of a brand new financial world.  People need to pay attention to their surroundings because there ARE no police.

I am glad that they got the money back but yea there needs to be some work on the cyber security side. All the hacks and rug pulls are something that keeps hitting the news. It tends to put Defi in a bad light.

Hacks can be prevented or at least mitigated if proper security is practiced.  

Prevention of rug pulls, on the other hand, relies on ethics and morality; since no one knows what's in the mind of anyone else unless that person volunteers that information, no amount of technology can prevent that.  It's one reason why DYOR is vital.

Not at the moment there is 100% **decentralization** but some things are moving in that direction.

Open source software has the advantage of being reviewed and audited by anyone at any time.  If there is any funny business taking place based on the way the application was written, it will be discovered and made public.

Many coders who code for a living are also volunteers or hobbyists for projects they care about.  Many of these coders form part of a community devoted to bringing to reality the vision described by the project they code for.  Usually they are ethical people, but the unethical among them are kept in check precisely because of the public nature of open source software.

Even if you aren't a coder of any kind, you can be sure the people involved on the coding side care deeply about the projects to which they devote their time and effort.  They deserve whatever donations we give them and more.

I don't like it really, any time you start incorporating $ values and stocks it's an open doorway for the FED and governments to step in. That's me for the stick it to the government level that's been recently overreaching heavily and I don't like it.

The investor side of me says bring it as regulation will bring in MASSIVE money and bump everything to new levels we haven't seen before.

In the case of Iran, it's not just a matter of taking in extra money.  If it's part of "the global economy," that means the systems put in place which are run by US or US-aligned interests-- IMF, World Bank, and SWIFT to name a few.  Even if Iran wanted to bring in extra money, they won't permit it.  So cryptocurrency is one of the few options open to Iran.  What OPEC is known for doing to the US with petroleum, the US does to some other countries with the US Dollar.

Iran has to bypass USD every way it can, and fiat currencies aren't much better even though they are OK for use in Iran.  Cryptocurrency will help Iran improve its internal situation.  Combine crypto with oil, and Iran may be on to something.

I think it's FOMO if your motivation for doing it is just to "keep up with the Joneses."  You bought your ADA for a good reason and want to add more for that reason.  FOMO doesn't apply in your case: you know what you're doing.

Good new or bad news?

Supply chain issues are really affecting the automobile industry.  **Tesla** is focusing upon higher profit margin vehicles which is a good thing.  However, they are missing sales due to it also.

They are holding up better than many of the **legacy automakers**.  Of course, Tesla has a much lower bar in terms of production numbers.

After writing an article the other day about the funding of **SENS Research** with cryptocurrency, I was thinking about the life extension movement.

How close are we getting to radical life extension, say where most like in a healthy way to 100?  Are we 20 years away? 30?  40?

At the moment the CANDIES are more like points rather than tokens or coins.  CoinGecko.com is the site which has these, and you need sign up for an account there to collect the CANDIES.  They can be redeemed for gifts; more information is at the web site.

Nothing is guaranteed, but should these CANDIES be converted from points to cryptocurrency, whoever has them will have made free money.  This is why there's a push for them here.

There are a few other things like that as well from other places, but the big on seems to be CANDIES.

Would be EPIC! Every time a rally happens or every time there's talk of people getting shadowbanned/blacklisted/removed from other social media platforms it's the perfect opportunity to promote Project blank. I'm curious how the tokenomics of it will work and how it will create revenue.

When project blank takes off it's going to be a HUGE plus for when the Leo team updates about CUBDeFi, LeoFinance and anything else they launch. Instantly tapping into thousands if not millions of users and they "control" it in a way.
