Well it just means that people are getting better spreads on tokens. It still hasn't been able to avoid the pump and dumps though. LEO took a nosedive as people scrambled to get HIVE to take advantage of the pumps.

I don't really watch it too much.  I am not sure H-E will ever get the traffic to make it a viable solution to some of the bigger projects.

It will have a niche which is can fill, perhaps even fairly large but I dont think it will get the big numbers that are expected.

I think they are trying to create the same silo/walled system that is doomed to fail.

We will just crush them with blank.  They simply feel things are competing which is Web 2.0.

They will not survive once blank goes live.

That's what I think too . They seem to be cocky because there is no "real" competitor for them right now . 

They are talking about Leo and Hive as competition whereas the real competition is yet to arrive .

I understand why they would do that but I don't agree at all. I think they are trying to build something on a concept that's completely mistaken and outdated. 

They are probably going to get steamrolled when Blank goes live.

An upward trend for the comment count and also an increase in the average word count. If we look at things in terms of the monthly view, we are clearly uptrending too.

I have heard of it but haven't used it. From what I heard, you can stream an entire day and get less than 1 fuel ($0.42 when I checked back then). You have to actually interact to get the bigger amounts so I didn't think it was worth it.

Never tried it... from what I learned from the comments below, it doesn't look like a great product yet, but the concept is interesting. If I got it right, it has the same idea as Twitch, and Twitch is huge. Maybe there's potential on this product or something similar.

You know what I do? I have an "unfinished posts" folder on my laptop where I drop post ideas. Some of them are just text files of working post titles that I come back to when I have ideas. Some contain just a line or two or even a paragraph that I add to when something comes to me.

I don't put a lot of pressure on myself to write for the sake of it. So what happens is that posts get added to little by little, unless I suddenly feel a burst of creativity. It seems that most people sit down and try to build Rome in a day in one post. 

Writing should be fun, not work. You're right to create when you have something to say. I take frequent breaks when writing and edit frequently. This gives me the space to be inspired by what's around me. I think it's one of the reasons I'm so productive late at night.

I've had an entire day to soak up the world around me and then can crystalize points of view in the quiet of the evening. Things will come to you at just the right time and you'll feel a burst of creativity as a content creator. :)

I know what you mean, sometimes I start a post and then delete it because it looks like a rant or just babbling about nothing. I still try to post once a week so I'm not forgotten. It took years to build relationships with people that stick around, and even though I don't need the rewards anymore it's nice to keep up with it and stay active.

I don't see how it is good for the platform as it will push out their user base. Generally if BCH was so good then everyone would be talking about it. The problem is that it just has hype and people rely on it because they are getting it for free. We need project blank soon so we can take their users and leave them to dry out with little left.

 Well, I remember that I took my aunt last year to visit the city of Trindade, Goiás. It is considered the largest Catholic city in the country.

 It is not far from home, about 1 hour by car and so I could take it but it was deserted because there was practically no one lol.

I believe it was a trip to Riviera de São Lourenço, which is a famous beach in São Paulo.

I do remember that I had a trip planned to Nashville, in the USA. I was supposed to go like a month after the pandemic took place. Fortunately, I still hadn't bought tickets or booked hotels so I didn't lose any money.

Well, let me tell you buddy. My last trip was more than 5 years ago and it was in fact the last time I have seen my family here in Venezuela.

On that occasion I had the opportunity to share with my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents for 10 days. It was really great the time I spent with all of them since before that trip I had not seen them for about 3 years.

I have not been able to travel more not only because of the pandemic, but also because the situation in my country is quite difficult and I live on the island of Margarita, Venezuela. My family lives on the mainland, in the capital Caracas. So due to the economic situation the money has not been enough for me to buy a plane ticket or take a ferry trip.

But I think that this coming December, if the situation improves with the pandemic, I think I will be able to travel to see my family. And all thanks to Hive and Leofinance because I plan to save the reward money for that trip, as well as to invest in projects I have in mind.

Yes I think it will only get better since they are using HivePay by CTP. By doing so, people can pay using their profits from the blockchain. Therefore they don't exactly need to convert fiat and spend time instead.

Interesting take.  Hard to argue with her analysis so I will guess they put as much attention to this as their other funds.

This one is really speculative and, I imagine, very limited.  After all, not a ton of publicly traded Space Companies at this moment.

It is still in the early stage and there really aren't many actual space companies on the public market. Even Cathie Wood's space ETF has a bunch of companies that may produce parts or materials for space.

as taskie has mentioned a couple of times ethereum is a chain for the big money spenders. think about it, defi has been the craze for some time now within the crypto sphere, however, not so many people have been involved due to the high gas fees. it is only until recently I joined in myself and it was via a different chain. i don't think they have any plans to change the current status quo. good luck to them but I think they are missing out on a lot.

I think there are a lot of plans to make Ethereum truly a chain for big money players.  This is Wall Street is going to reside.  They honestly do not care about a $50 transaction fee since they play in tens of thousands of per transaction volume.

The little guy is shut out but we know the volume from retail is nothing compared to Wall Street.

Of course, with crypto this all can change if we keep growing our bags in a big way.

Yea I feel like ETH fees are nothing to Wall Street and they wouldn't break an eye if the fees were thousands of bucks. Because the volume they transact is huge. If you have taken a look at the dark pool prints, they are usually transacting in the value of tens of millions of dollars.

It's more speculation but I think having more space related companies in the actual stock market is helpful. At least they have to make public their records so we are given time to see if they are legit. But it is another SPAC so do your own research.

I fully expect more money to keep going in. There were a few LEO whales who decided to power down and allocate more LEO to the pool. Also once the LEO bridge shows up, we will definitely see more activity.

I am more interested in how much CUB/LEO is burned from the fees since that will tell us more information about the activity in CUB.

You mean 10,000 not 1,000.

And while we did have some big days, we also had some very poor ones.  Hence, if we are more consistent, raising the low end, then we can get away without having the huge days.


Without looking, we had some days in the low 100s.  We need to focus upon 300 as our daily minimum level.

Depending on the number of people who comment per day. For example if 15 people make 23 comments per day for 30 days: 23x15=345x30=10,350 That's our 10K for the month.

With 30 people, you can halve that number. It's doable.

Another good thing, is that each of these threads is also being indexed by Google. So as the parent site gains domain age, more people should find us outside of Hive and LeoFinance when we mention for instance, Brands and products that they may be searching for. The unemployment data is not worth a ton other than for trends.  Plus we know that people who fall off the ranks are not counted any more.

I will have to look up what the true employment numbers are.

Plus, the devil is in the details.  We will see what the job creation markets are.  I am going to guess they are more low end jobs.

That smells like they are covering up the reality. If the situation is so difficult with the pandemic, I don't think the unemployment situation is improving. For example in my country we are in total quarantine and unemployment is increasing, the crisis is worsening and there are no solutions.

Yea the trade has little downside if you think about it from an investors point of view. For every BTC you bet, you get back 19% of the BTC back. If it doesn't hit, unless BTC crashes down quite a bit, you won't lose out. It pretty much lets the safe investors gain an almost free ride and the speculators go crazy on calls.

Well, it's not crazy to believe it will go up that much. In 2017 bitcoin went from $600 to $20K, that's about 2000% growth, and from $20K to $300K there's only about 1400%.

The market cap before and after are different. I don't think retail will be able to push it further and it will definitely require participation from those financial giants. A few corporations like Apple or Google. It could also be a few banks planning to keep it on its asset list like Goldman or Blackrock.

That is true.  The percentages tell us it is certainly possible.  However, as things get bigger, they are harder to get the same percentage return.

But the futures markets tend to be indications where the big players are going.

One of the thing bears attack Tesla on is their profitability without the credits.  However, now we find out they are going to be selling them to VW in China. This after having two others companies paying them in Europe.

Well Tesla is definitely burning money and the other side needs credits. I don't see a bad thing with doing so but it is definitely true I would like them to be a little more sustainable without selling credits. I personally see zero issues since if Tesla wants to raise money, plenty of people will flock in.

Well they are funding a ton of growth.

I read they are building a mini line for the semi in Nevada to produce a handful of those each week to get them going.  It will also be a test bed for the bigger production in Austin once they are ready for that.

I am sure setting up that mini-line costs a pretty penny.

Things like that tend to suck up their reosurces.

Fortunately they make like 60% or 705 on their Bitcoin this quarter.  That will help the balance sheet for a while.

Grayscale trading a premium for a month straight.  Is this going to reverse?  The one in this article believes so.

Well the biggest issue is that GrayScale hasn't really made a move to clarify their situation. The assets might be back by BTC but if you can't convert back and have little control on when you can get out, people will get fustrated. All those early entrants sold out while the other people are waiting to get out while the profit is high.

Yeah as the article mentioned, this is exclusive to Grayscale.  They have to make some adjustments if they want to remain in the game.

The introduction/approval of an ETF by the SEC would really making things tough for them unless they alter how they are structured.

I think that is going to be the case.   We are going to see a lot of upside from where we are now.

It might take a couple more years but we have the development to really back up higher levels.  It is just a matter of getting things to roll out and getting people involved.

I expect quite a few people to make heavy gains from GME. Imagine buying around $9 and then selling covered calls near $500? You made many times your initial investment since the premiums were so jacked up. Its a high risk high reward trade and I am personally not interested in playing it.

Yea the dip keeps getting bought as it can't stay under the moving averages long enough. So I think a run up in the alts will probably take place when people start moving their money around. I am however worried about BTC being mentioned in so many news articles because that usually means we are near a short-term top.

Ufff, if that breakout is confirmed, maybe BTC will drag all the alts with it to the upside. It was already seen in the 2017 cycle, let's hope it happens again and this time Hive will be one of those alts to skyrocket as well

That is all true although at some point the alt coins are going to separate from its dependence upon BTC.

That will likely continue to help things along but there are enough projects now with some sustainability on their own.

Lol. XRP was obviously the one in the wrong. I saw the evidence and they just didn't have the money they said they have. I don't understand why they want to dabble on BTC or ETH when they don't have a good understanding of it and no evidence of such blatant manipulation of prices. The problem is XRP can print as much as they want with zero issues.

That's a good explanation. And it's the same thing that has happened with SBD. In 2017 it reached if I remember correctly a high of 14$, and then it deflated little by little. And that happened because of the very high rise of BTC probably, or I don't know what would be the reason back then. And in fact right now it's worth $8.50, it's crazy that it's worth that, it's supposed to be a coin that's anchored at $1. Let's see what happens to HBD now.

Tesla smashed the estimates for the deliveries.  They topped 184K for the quarter.

This in spite of some headwinds.

Model Y production in China is scaling up quickly.

Yea its good news for Tesla Bulls. Now that the delivers are up and the optons expiration at the end of the month are up, I think they might let it go back up. It looks like it gapped up then faded on Friday so I expect a pump as soon as the market opens.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Anyone outside the stock market and real estate probably took a huge dip. The interest from banks have gone from bad to even worst when people are struggling to survive everyday.

Actually the poor likely saw their situation improve since there was both mortgage and rent forebearance programs.  So it people arent paying their rent, their balance sheet can improve.

Of course, what happens when they are forced to have to start paying that again?

The situation will likely reverse very quickly.

It will deflate if 3D printing of houses take over. The cost of making a house will go way down but you can bet that law suits will start increasing to delay the inevitable.

I think this is a good thing.  It is inevitable that Bitcoin's dominance drops a great deal.  We are going to see a lot more growth in the alt-coins over the next few years.  Just look at how LEO and CUB appeared and now are worth  $12 million between the two.

We are going to see a lot more of that in the future.

Yes I think BTC was bound to lose dominance. The problem is that there isn't much use case while ETH can be used as gas fees. I expect ETH to slowly lose dominance as well since people will naturally opt for lower fees.

I agree that the dominance will fade simply because the two of them still account for 70% of the total market cap.

That said, Ethereum has the development and that is not stopping.  That is going to make them hard to counteract.  Where the development is where growth takes place.

ETH still have more developers than any other chain, and by a wide margin.  Until that changes, it is hard to fight what is taking place on there.

With 1 bitcoin we will be able to buy a Lamborghini in 2021 and a Bugatti in 2023, said Kraken's CEO.

Besides him, there are many market analysts who predict that BTC this year will reach prices between 100K$ to 300K$. In addition to this there are many fundamental news that support btc and foemntan it to rise even more.

I think the world has decreed the next value of BTC and we will see it at those prices soon. What do you guys think?

My guess is $150K for Bitcoin by the end of 2021.

Gold is at a turning point for the bulls and the bears. We will have to wait which way it will go, if it breaks $1750 and the bulls take control, or falls below $1680 and the bears take control.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Gold test the 2015 low.

It will probably be aided by the upcoming run in commodities that will take place going into 2024.

Lots of focus on HBD right now , I am happy finally we are trying all possible ways to make it a real stable coin pegged at 1$ .

I also really liked this implementation for HBD.  What I think will be more complicated is to make HBD finally what it should be, a stablecoin.

I think adding interest to HBD was a great plan. It incentivizes people to hold onto their HBD because currently it has no real use case besides conversion to HIVE. So it either has a value of 0 or $1 depending on how you look at it.

It is a good incentive.  Not a ton of money but imagine those who are engaging in commerce and hold a lot of HBD for their business.

This provides a nice return.

The idea of paying interest on HBD was a great move.  They also have the ability to raise it via hard fork I believe.

We will see if they can get the price stabilized.

Just some historical data on which months are better. I don't know but its highly likely given the price-action on BTC lately. All the dips keep being bought and it can't stay under the daily moving average long enough.

Yes it is. LeoInfra is a very good tool for the entire Blockchain because it allows even those who are not tech savvy to join in. After being able to post, they can gradually learn about the block chain. By doing so, we make it easier for people to join and increases the retention rate. They get a test drive and see whether or not they can fill their bags.

The article talks about OKEx exchange is looking for 5 traders in Argentina for their P2P trading service. They are promising a starting salary of 100$ per month and it will be paid in theter. They will also give out 200 USDT to traders with a high success rate.

The requirements to be selected are: 

- Have a registered OKEx account.
