Hello DIY friends, how are you doing? Today I come with an activity that I've been doing all my life and I'm very excited to show you. It's been many years since I did this kind of weaving with the macramé technique.

Today I will show you how to make the first basic stitches and finish a bracelet. My choice of colors was simple because they are the 4 colors of the murga where I am part of, and this makes it "the colors of my shirt" as if it were soccer. The good thing here is that I used black to separate the colors and make it more eye-catching.

We start with a base yarn on which we will mount the colors. In this case I used two black threads in the center, and towards the outside I placed two turquoise, two black, two white, two black, two violet, one on each side of the "central" black. There should be 3 colors separated by 3 black threads on each side, a total of 12 threads.

The first thing I do is a few knots in the center before starting the most important part of the bracelet. As I don't know if this technique will be understood in pictures, I will explain the first step as I go along, and once you have practiced a little you will see how it is so simple that it comes out by itself.

The basic stitch is made as follows: we will have a base thread, on which we will weave, and one with which we will make the knot on top of the other (there will be one on the left and one on the right). With the knitting yarn, we pass over the base yarn, then under the base yarn, and finally, in the middle of the hole formed by the knitting yarn itself. This "tummy" that is formed I define it in two ways, when the base yarn is the one on the right, the tummy is like a number "4". And when the base yarn is the one on the left, the tummy is like a letter "p". I hope this can be understood from the pictures. 

>*El punto básico es realizado de la siguiente manera: tendremos un hilo base, sobre el que tejeremos, y uno con el que haremos el nudo encima del otro (quedarán uno a la izquierda y otro a la derecha). I started in the center, made a double knot (twice the same knot) of black in the center, and from there, completed to the ends. This will prevent the threads from deforming at the beginning of the weaving, but you can start at the ends as well.... 

>*Comencé por el centro, hice un nudo doble (dos veces el mismo nudo) de negro en el centro, y a partir de allí, completé hasta los extremos. Esto evitará que los hilos se deformen al comienzo del tejido, pero puedes comenzar por los extremos también.*

In this case we will do the arrow, completing all the way out. Then I continued with the turquoise, I made a double knot inwards over the black color, in this way it already started to take the shape of an arrow downwards. When I reached the center, I joined both turquoise ends. I go back out and continue with another black thread, over the turquoise ones. And once again when I reach the center, I tie both black colors in the center. And so I continue, the white, then black again, and when I get to the purple color we will start the total beads. This is the first color I will make complete, over all the following strands.

From here on, everything is repetitive, from the ends we will do the following, each thread of the right end will go over those of its left, making two knots, and continuing to the next thread, in this case as letter P. And the threads of the left end, will always go over those of the right, making double knot and passing to the next thread. 

>*A partir de aquí, todo es repetitivo, desde los extremos haremos lo siguiente, cada hilo del extremo derecho irá sobre los de su izquierda, haciendo dos nudos, y continuando al siguiente hilo, en este caso como letra P. I made all the necessary turns until the length was enough and to finish, I separated the remaining threads, 6 on one side, and 6 on the other, separated 2 by 2, I made a braid on the left side and one on the right side, which I will later use to tie the bracelet to my wrist.
