Creating digital art has always been a journey of passion and imagination for me. I'm Lorentm, a digital artist who loves bringing characters to life through my style. Welcome to my blog! Today, I'm incredibly excited to share a special piece with all of you – a fan art of Emberox, one of the amazing characters from @holozing.

This piece was born from my admiration for Emberox – the evolution of Emberion, Holozing’s fire dragon. Instead of portraying the character in its beast form, I imagined a humanized, feminine version of this powerful dragon. Something that would reflect her intensity and strength, but also her elegance and mystique.

> Esta obra nació de mi admiración por Emberox, la evolución de Emberion, el dragón de fuego de Holozing. En lugar de representarla en su forma bestial, quise imaginar una versión humanizada y femenina de este poderoso dragón. Algo que reflejara su intensidad y fuerza, pero también su elegancia y misterio.

As I began sketching, I imagined Emberox descending from a sky of fire, her eyes glowing with determination, wings wide open as flames danced around her. I felt inspired by her transformation and wanted to capture that majestic transition in a single moment.

> Cuando comencé a bocetarla, imaginé a Emberox descendiendo de un cielo en llamas, con los ojos brillando de determinación, las alas completamente abiertas y rodeada de chispas ardientes. Me sentí inspirada por su transformación y quise capturar esa transición majestuosa en un solo instante.

I’d also like to thank @acidyo and @holozing for their constant support and inspiration. Being part of this community motivates me to keep creating and sharing what I love most – art.

Emberox’s appearance in this artwork is a fusion of fiery power and graceful form. Her long, flowing hair transitions from deep orange to bright highlights, echoing the flickering tongues of flame. Her eyes are intense, glowing with a hint of rebellion and wisdom, as if they carry the memory of countless battles.

> La apariencia de Emberox en esta obra es una fusión de poder ígneo y forma elegante. Su cabello largo y ondulado pasa de un naranja profundo a reflejos brillantes, evocando las lenguas danzantes del fuego. Sus ojos son intensos, brillando con un toque de rebeldía y sabiduría, como si guardaran la memoria de incontables batallas.

She wears a form-fitting bodysuit in crimson tones, simple yet striking, designed to show her agility and strength. Her wings are large, bat-like, with glowing membranes that almost seem to radiate heat. Her claws and tail remind us of her draconic origin, keeping the essence of Emberion alive.

> Luce un traje ajustado en tonos carmesí, sencillo pero llamativo, diseñado para mostrar su agilidad y fuerza. Sus alas son grandes, como de murciélago, con membranas brillantes que casi parecen irradiar calor. Sus garras y cola nos recuerdan su origen dracónico, manteniendo viva la esencia de Emberion.

Her posture – crouched and ready to launch – gives her a dynamic presence, as though she’s about to take flight or strike. The background of a burning sky adds to the drama, intensifying her fiery nature.

> Su postura – agachada y lista para lanzarse – le da una presencia dinámica, como si estuviera a punto de alzar vuelo o atacar. El fondo con un cielo ardiente añade dramatismo, intensificando su naturaleza ígnea.

## Process / Proceso

It all started with a rough sketch. I wanted to define Emberox’s pose and expression first, capturing her tension and readiness. The lines were loose and exploratory at first, but I knew I wanted her grounded yet ready to pounce, like a dragoness in a moment of pause before action.

> Todo comenzó con un boceto rápido. Quería definir primero la pose y expresión de Emberox, capturando su tensión y preparación. Las líneas eran sueltas y exploratorias al principio, pero sabía que quería mostrarla firme y al mismo tiempo lista para atacar, como una dragona en pausa antes de actuar.

Next came the inking phase. I used smooth, confident lines to bring structure to the sketch. Defining the curves of her wings, the strands of her hair, and the intensity of her eyes was both challenging and rewarding. This stage always brings the character one step closer to life.

> Luego llegó la fase de delineado. Usé líneas suaves y seguras para dar estructura al boceto. Definir las curvas de sus alas, los mechones de su cabello y la intensidad de su mirada fue un reto emocionante. Esta etapa siempre acerca al personaje un paso más hacia la vida.

Coloring Emberox was pure fun. I carefully selected a palette based on fire: reds, oranges, and golden yellows. Each section of her design was filled with vibrant tones, always keeping in mind the light source and her elemental nature.

> Colorear a Emberox fue pura diversión. Seleccioné cuidadosamente una paleta basada en el fuego: rojos, naranjas y amarillos dorados. Cada parte de su diseño fue rellenada con tonos vibrantes, siempre considerando la fuente de luz y su naturaleza elemental.

The shadows were added to emphasize her form and give her a solid, three-dimensional presence. I imagined the glow of fire below her, so I used warm shadows to shape her muscles, curves, and wings.

> Las sombras se añadieron para enfatizar su forma y darle una presencia sólida y tridimensional. Imaginé el resplandor del fuego bajo ella, así que usé sombras cálidas para moldear sus músculos, curvas y alas.

Then came the highlights – my favorite part. I added gleams on her skin, the tips of her wings, and the strands of her hair. These light touches gave her a magical glow, enhancing her mythical, powerful aura.

> Después vinieron los brillos, mi parte favorita. Añadí destellos en su piel, en las puntas de sus alas y en los mechones de su cabello. Estos toques de luz le dieron un resplandor mágico, realzando su aura mítica y poderosa.

Finally, I created the background: a sky burning with red clouds and embers floating around her. This helped set the mood and placed Emberox in her natural fiery domain. The contrast between the intense sky and her figure made the whole scene feel alive.

> Finalmente, creé el fondo: un cielo ardiente con nubes rojas y brasas flotando a su alrededor. Esto ayudó a establecer el ambiente y situar a Emberox en su dominio natural de fuego. El contraste entre el cielo intenso y su figura hizo que toda la escena cobrara vida.

Working on this piece filled me with energy and inspiration. Emberox represents not just fire, but transformation, strength, and beauty – and channeling that into a humanized, feminine form was a thrilling challenge.

> Trabajar en esta pieza me llenó de energía e inspiración. Emberox representa no solo el fuego, sino también la transformación, la fuerza y la belleza, y canalizar todo eso en una forma humanizada y femenina fue un reto emocionante.
