Inflationary assets are investments that are expected to increase in value due to demand. However, these assets may be difficult to trade in a bear market, leading them to be held on a shelf rather than being actively traded for profit. These inflationary assets can only be traded goods, used to generate profits repeatedly. By definition, those assets have a rate of general value depreciation due to an oversupply or drop in utility over time. Therefore, it was bad to #hodl onto these assets for long-term profit. Instead, one may consider holding onto other types of assets that are not subject to inflationary pressures.

For example, in 2017/18, people may have purchased thousands of coins at a DCA of $1 and held onto them until they were able to sell them for DCA 2$ in 2024. Despite the profits made, they might have not made a gain at all, especially after taxes and fees.

Now step up your velocity, and add time and opportunity as a loss factor to the equation. Bear or Bull is not important for highly inflationary assets.
