If Muhammad Will Not Go To The Mountain

That might be a bit reversed of a quote on my part. But it's inspired by the present.

In [a recent urban exploration post of mine](https://peakd.com/hive-104387/@manoldonchev/suburban-looks-along-the-rim-of-sofia-city) I mentioned that a certain smokestack (or chimney) starred a lot of my recent productions. Here we go again, as I share a few views from the watchtower.

Light.
Photographer's gold.
But also dirt.
You have to sift.
Through time, and chance, and weather.

Sometimes, when I have absolutely no plans about it, some majestic light will appear. And as I am trained to see it, it will call me, drag me, ask me to...

...DO SOMETHING!

(sorry for the shouting, I just had to relay Light's message)

So...when no other ideas around, it's a game of finding a smokestack and be quick about it. Wait. Finding a camera first. Then a smokestack. Then...

Probably something else, as well.

Yesterday, @silver.art asked me what it was that made the late spring afternoons look so awesome. Light, of course, and clouds. But was there anything special? 

It's the trend to have lots of rain-heavy clouds cover the sky like a lid placed quite high, and at a certain moment, the Sun gets low enough to peek beneath that lid. And shine a spotlight on those smokestacks. Or daisies. Whatever you have in plenty around you.

Yeah, thank you for pointing out there were no smokestacks, neither daisies in the image above. I was aware but I can't have too many tropes.

_Same dark skies..._

So, when light catches me with my proverbial pants down, I just have to swing at whatever pops up from my point of view. And otherwise boring shapes become nice graphic elements.

And someday I might just go to that mountain, eventually.
