Good evening my dear community of #AlienArtHive I hope you are very very well and welcome to a new drawing, it's a little late but I did not want to go to sleep without sharing with you a work a little portrait style that I finished a little while ago, I had already many days doing full body and semi-complete work and I wanted to vary a bit in the week and do something a little more to own inspiration and therefore I decided to draw this character that I gave the name of (Fernanda). This is a drawing where I mixed many intense red, brown and black colors to get a drawing a little bit mysterious and striking; but at the same time it looked nice and well here I will leave you a little of the process so you can appreciate it much better:
>*Buenas noches mi querida comunidad de #AlienArtHive espero que se encuentren muy muy bien y sean bienvenidos a un nuevo dibujo, es un poco tarde ya pero no quería irme a dormir sin antes compartirles una obra un poco a estilo retrato que termine hace un ratito, tenía ya muchos días realizando obra a cuerpo completo y semi-completo y quise variar un poco en la semana y hacer algo un tanto más a inspiración propio y por ello decidí dibujar a este personaje que le di el nombre de (Fernanda). Este es un dibujo donde mezcle muchos colores rojos intensos, marrones y negros para conseguir un dibujo un tanto misterio y llamativo; pero que al mismo tiempo se viera bonito y bueno aquí les dejare un poco del proceso para que puedan apreciarla mucho mejor:*

The first thing I did was to look for a good pose to start building Fernanda, I had the idea of doing a much more frontal portrait and perhaps looking towards the floor; but as I was making strokes I was not very convinced by that idea, and in the end I ended up choosing to paint her as if she was on her back, but turning to the front at the most opportune moment. I made a very stylized sketch with very thin but well defined strokes and lines, and then I began to apply colors to everything separately and dedicating their due attention to each part of the character with several layers; for the skin I used a very sandy tone to achieve a much more natural skin appearance, for the hair I used a very dark gray color to simulate a night black hair suitable to what I had in my mind about Fernanda.
>*Lo primero que hice fue buscar una buena pose para empezar a construir a Fernanda, tenia la idea de hacer un retrato mucho más frontal y mirando hacia el piso quizá; pero a medida que iba realizando trazos no terminaba de convencerme mucho esa idea, y al final termine optando por pintarla como se estuviera de espaldas, pero volteándose hacia al frente en el momento más oportuno. Realice un boceto bastante estilizado y con trazos y líneas muy delgadas pero bien definidas, y ahí fue que comencé a aplicar colores a todo por separado y dedicando su debida atención a cada parte del personaje con varias capas; para la de la piel use un tono muy arenoso para lograr una apariencia de piel mucho más natural, para el pelo use un color gris muy oscuro para simular un cabello negro nocturno adecuado a lo que tenia en mi mente sobre Fernanda.*

The process of creating the skin was done with a lot of patience and in this case I used only defined brushes as a first base for the shadows and lights, these shadows were only slightly blurring because later I added more intense colors, but this time with a watercolor brush that has softer strokes and at the same time you mix the colors that are very close to each other. I created the strong shadows and the shadows of occlusion very carefully so that the drawing was not so overloaded in this part, and when I finally achieved what I wanted I could start to give warmth to the face with pink tones for the cheeks and nose; I painted the eyes with a lot of sky blue and some light touches of electric blue that helped me to give more volume to the area of the sclera of the eyes and above all a greater realism.
>*El proceso de creación de la piel lo realice con mucha paciencia y en este caso utilice solo pinceles definidos como primara base para las sombras y luces, estas sombras solo las fui difuminando levemente pues después añadí colores mas intensos, pero esta vez con un pincel acuarela que tiene trazos mas suaves y a la vez mezclas los colores que estén muy juntos entre sí. Fui creando las sombras fuertes y las sombras de oclusión con mucho cuidado para que el dibujo no quedara tan recargado en esta parte, y cuando por fin logre lo que quería ya ahí pude empezar a darle calidez al rostro con tonos rosas para las mejillas y nariz; el pintado de los ojos lo hice con mucho azul celeste y unos leves toques de azul eléctrico que me sirvieron para darle mas volumen a la zona de la esclerótica de los ojos y  sobre todo un mayor realismo.*

I painted the lips with a gray base tone to make a good complement with the hair and following the idea of the eyes I added many high tones and progressive glosses to make the lips look a little more fleshy and alive to the viewer's sight; I slightly blurred some things and at the end I managed to give the face that expression of tranquility and slight finish that I was looking for at the beginning. The next thing in the painting was the creation of the hair, the long hair is one of those that I like to paint in my illustrations because I can let my hands loose a lot to make a good relief almost always; in this case I made many long and somewhat crazy strokes to also get a little naturalness that never hurts, finally with a small fine tip brush I added some last lines of shiny strands to highlight the hair a little more.
>*Los labios los pinté de un tono base gris para que hiciera buen complemento con el pelo y siguiendo la idea de los ojos les fui agregando muchos tonos altos y brillos progresivos para que los labios se vieran un poco mas carnosos y vivos a la vista del espectador; difumine ligeramente algunas cosas y al final logre darle al rostro esa expresión de tranquilidad y leve termina que tanto estaba buscando en un inicio. Lo siguiente en el pintado fue la creación del cabello, el pelo largo es de los que mas me gusta pintar en mis ilustraciones ya que puedo soltar mucho las manos para realizar un buen relieve casi siempre; en este caso realice muchos trazos largos y algo alocados para conseguir también un poco de naturalidad que nunca está de más, finalmente con un pincele punta fina de tamaño pequeño fui añadiendo unas últimas líneas de mechones brillosos para resaltar un poco más el pelo.*

With Fernanda practically ready the only thing I needed to do was to make a good complement for the background, and as I mentioned at the beginning I wanted to achieve for this illustration something mysterious and why not, maybe something slightly gloomy; that's why I focused on giving a bloody red color to the background with some textured brushes, while gradually introducing colors like brown and black. I created some patterns in the background as if there was a kind of hand or claw that I then blurred slightly while over it I made some strokes with (Krita) brushes, I did this a couple of times while I applied some layer effects for shines; finally I was going to leave it like that, but it occurred to me that I could add a touch more and it occurred to me to create a small trail or mantle of red petals flying right in front of Fernanda's eyes.
>*Ya con Fernanda prácticamente lista lo único que me faltaba por hacer era hacer un buen complemento para el fondo, y como les mencione en un inicio quería lograr para esta ilustración algo misterioso y porque no?, quizá algo ligeramente tétrico; es por ello que me centre en darle un colorido rojo sangriento al fondo con algunos pinceles texturizados, mientras poco a poco introducía colores como el marrón y el negro. Cree algunos patrones en el fondo como si estuviera una especie de mano o garra que luego difumine levemente mientras sobre ella realizaba algunos trazos con pinceles de (Krita), esto lo hice un par de veces mientras aplicaba algún que otro efecto de capa para brillos; finalmente lo iba a dejas así, pero se me ocurrió que podía añadir un toque mas y se me ocurrió crear una pequeña estela o manto de pétalos rojos volando justo frente a los ojos de Fernanda.*
