Not everyone is going to like me anyway. Not everyone who gives me criticism is constructive. And not everyone can be honest about their opinions. I used to think that people who focus on my negatives are so preoccupied about finding my faults.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>But then I realized that people are more worked up about their own dramas to notice you most of the time. They will interact with you when they have the chance. Negatively. But once you're not there anymore, they will revert back to whatever drama they got that preoccupied them first.</p>\n<p>But of course let's not be biased about keeping our egos intact. Some of the negative feedback may have truth in them that we are unwilling to accept. People don't usually talk about stuff they don't see. It's difficult to talk about stuff you've never seen for yourself. <p>Oh I do know I am not perfect and that I have my faults but it doesn't mean I will let them use it against me to make me feel small. Failures and mistakes are part of success. If we do not experience such then how else can we improve? </p><p>This is why I asked what are the good things I did too aside from the wrong things I did. There's always a good and bad side to everything and everyone. 😊</p>

Take distance.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>In the past, I tried to see things from their perspective and saw it as a challenge to improve myself. But there is a weird thing that happened. Because someone was constantly talking me down I started talking down to others as well, as it seemed righteous for me to do so. There were even people who cut me out of their life and only recently have accepted me back in.</p>\n<p>Here's the thing. If someone can only say negative things about you, it is out self interest. It can be jealousy or even hate. You might have something that person doesn't have. If this person has the best intentions with you, he will apologize, try to find a couple of positive things about you and be more considerate the next time. If he doesn't, you'd be better of without him in your life.</p>\n<p>Oh.. and of course, do something to get your mind of the situation.
