For the last few weeks, I've probably spent no more than an hour, maybe a little less on Musing. That's due to a few factors that I will explain in a moment.

I used to spend four or five hours a day when Musing had a large delegation from Steemit Inc, and were using it to curate. It made sense because most of my rewards came from Musing during that time. There were more people asking questions as well as creating answers, so there was more to read and more to try to contribute.

Now, while Musing is back to curating, there is not as much to curate, because of fewer questions, and because of fewer answers per question. Add to that the fact that Musing principally upvotes between 50%-100% each time, their Voting Power goes down quicker than it did before. The upvotes are nice, there's just fewer of them.

So, I might answer two or three questions at the most, and take whatever time that might mean to finish. Some questions require longer answers to be complete. Others, not so much.

When I've answered the two or three questions I can, I move onto something else, and then come back as often as the next day when I can.

`json_metadata`	"{"app":"musing/1.1","appTags":["musing","question","answer"],"appCategory":"musing","appTitle":"Do you have enough spare time to do the things you really enjoy?If not, why?","appBody":"<p>Unfortunately I don't, one of the worst things about working a 9-5 is that it eats up so much of your time that you literally don't have the time or energy to do alot of the things that you love, especially for someone like me who lives pretty far from his work place.</p><p>I think it's important to actually keep doing the things that you love though, it's what makes life worth it because if you focus all your energy on work and you don't actually live what you're doing then you're probably going to become a very depressed individual on the long run.</p><p>I do try to do the things I love like spending time with friends and family and working out but not on week days, everything gets pushed to the weekends for me. There are people who cooperate with each other to achieve a common goal but not because they share each others feelings, simply because they both have goals that seem to be the same at that time.</p><p>Empathy on the other hand will almost always result in cooperation, as long as both parties don't have opposing goals. A relationship is meant to actually reduce our stress and make our lives a little bit easier because that's what companionship of that nature was made for.</p><p>Typically speaking, as long as you don't have any issues in your relationship and you and your partner get along just fine then yes being in a relationship will definitely reduce the stress that you encounter everyday.</p><p>I know this because i'm in a relationship and the fact that I can actually talk to someone about my day who'll be willing to listen and give me a hug when I'm down does wonders for my stress levels. Honestly I believe that as long as you and your partner are on good terms then day-to-day stress won't be such a big deal for you.</p><p>Beware though, the same way a relationship can reduce your stress is the same way it can increase it. The people who advocated about 50% curation reward were of the opinion that it will make the curation reward attractive and hence the curators like whales or orcas will love to curate more with their influential steem power. They will be happy to curate more and it will come naturally, so the authors will get more natural upvotes from the whales and thus it will otherwise encourage authors to post more as natural upvotes will rise. But this has been an apprehension by some people in this community and it may not so happen in reality. </p>\n<p>Further, we can not say whether it will work  or not. So what if it does not work, then definitely  the author reward looks less attractive and  if there will not be more curators even after making the curation reward to 50%, then I think for the same amount of reward, the authors have to double their effort, so this thing could back fire in that scenario.</p>\n<p>So in my opinion, we should experiment this sort of thing by increasing the curation reward like 35% or 30%, as little increase will not impact much to the author reward and nonetheless the dapps are also debiting benefactor reward which is making the author reward as 65% net on an average in many cases and the authors are also happy with that as well. I personally feel quite friendly in steem blockchain and over a period of time I have learned to engage in steem blockchain productively and I got the opportunity to engage with some good people to the likes of my interest in this community.  But I am not going to compare this with other form of social media because they are all established one and have a huge user base and that covers the main stream social media. So it will take time for steem social media to come to that stage. But one thing I am sure about is that, this form of social media is going to be the future form of social media for sure and the future form of social media will be definitely tokenized. </p>\n<p>I also feel that the quality blogging and socializing is happening in steem blockchain(although there are some kind of spam and shit contents also exist there), but overall I can still see a lot of stuff which really adds to value in day to day life. More information and quality dapps are really adding value to steem blockchain and if steem price will be back to 1 usd at least or if steem will be able to consistently remain above 1 usd at least, then I can see more potential authors to remain in this blog and will make this place a better social place and in that sense I think we are inching close with the latest development. I also feel that the community and the steem blockchain both are excellent in their characteristics, so it has a great potential and it will definitely factor in at some point of time.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkrjwsq7w","appParentAuthor":"edb","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"
