 This is my post for #freewriters Thursday prompt *up first* hosted by @mariannewest So last Sunday I decided that I would try the pompano again, I drove to the fish house and got ice for Monday morning. I woke about 2 am to a terrible thunderstorm. I was hoping it would get over by daylight. It did not, it rained for most of the day, Tuesday was the same, rain and more rain. Wednesday no rain, but I could not go because we were scheduled to get our 2nd covid shots. My husband had a woman at his window and I had a different one preparing my shot. I thought good he is *up first*. That was not the case, I do not know what his lady was doing but I ended up getting mine first. At bedtime, I could feel my arm was sore but not terrible. I woke at 5 am with a bad headache and my arm hurting. At 7 am my husband gets up and the first thing he says is, my arm hurts. The first shot did not affect him. He tells me now that he has felt bad all day, no energy, and just feeling blah. He said if the shot does this then he sure as hell does not want to get the virus. I do not feel bad except for the headache and a touchy arm. That was the only day that I could have fished because today the wind has blown 25 to 30 knots, it is supposed to blow tomorrow, then I have to help my daughter move some things from her yard to clean it up. Her son has piled a bunch of wood next to the house and she is now in trouble with her insurance co. if she does not move it they said they will cancel it. I may never be able to fish again. :(
