<liketuimages> <center>     </center> </liketuimages> The other day I posted a few shots I managed to get of the varying wildlife that was around not far from where I live. That day, in just one field, I managed to photograph deer, a fox, a pheasant, and a judgemental horse. It was a really fun little walk considering I just hadn't been getting out much recently. But, with this much-needed walk and drone flight, I was met with a new challenge: interference. I haven't had many problems with the drone and the connection since I have owned it over the years; I've done *a lot* of flying in dense locations and during the summer months, but it was only the other day that I had my first actual disconnect. The drone lost all connection and struggled to get it back. This happened numerous times in an area I have flown the drone around so many times prior. I'm very comfortable flying it around there. Though it came to me that perhaps the reason for this connection issue I kept getting was likely a mixture of all the new growth in the area. The trees are looking beautiful as you can see in the first image! But also a result of the huge bales that occupy multiple large fields nearby. I wanted to fly through them and far over them to other fields, but I'm guessing each of them just disrupted the signal strength. Instead, I just accepted what I had. I flew the drone where I could and tried to incorporate them into some images somehow anyway, watching the ways the sunset would highlight the bale. It certainly wasn't as fun as usual, being a bit more limited to where I can fly and how. I'm hoping other locations aren't going to have the same issue. Still, it's always fun to get out and see the world from that other perspective. I think it's just the fact that there's so many other objects for that signal to pass through. I noticed if I gained a bit more height then it was *a bit* better. It wasn't too far away, but getting disconnected was a bit of a scare! Especially when I was flying fast and low through them to get a cool video. Part of me expected it to just keep going until it crashed. Fortunately it's insanely safe and it just stops when the connection dies.
