Asked 10 HBD with my first personal proposal, asked 30 HBD to decentralised HIVE twitter shilling. This is our (not mine) third proposal where I learned twitter shilling needs leadership and results. 

To be honest, I feel like if you're not part of one & only elite party in HIVE, they will make you feel like you're not worth it. Socialism for elites and capitalism for every other stakeholders.

@nathanmars Did you ever have any idea to advertise hive on tiktok and snack? I am just saying, I see tweets like this and that was also partly the reason why doge is what is now. I bought some when jackpaulers mentioned it on tiktok bought cheap  and hold my bags. Should really considering doing tiktok.

Hello @nathanmars,
What we see and what others see is not always the same thing .
I see many talk about long term investment and then get disappointed when it does not pay off in six months/ year or whatever time limit they put on it.
I look at the price of Hive, but I take no comfort in the price being up or down.
The reason I believe in hive is the same as it has always been and that is in the apps being  built on it , the fast and free transactions and most importantly the community.
Other blockchains want what we have and put us down because they want their blockchain to be the main blockchain. 
Small investors and even big ones are only interested in returns . At the moment they can get easy returns from other crypto’s ( just look at DOGE, it is a shit coin and because Elon Musk is interested in it others are also) .
This pump and dump thing they are running on DOGE will hurt a lot of people and they won’t care as long as they make money . And DOGE will crash once it it all said and done. ( I could be wrong but that is my opinion on the matter).

A long story short a lot of us believe in hive and we also believe in the great work you are doing . Don’t stop . Fail pick yourself up and fail again until the job is done. 
I have no interest in leaving hive. If you need help just ask you know where I am.

Two of the main reason I came back to hive
- I still see the true potential of  peer to peer decentralised social media network
- Seven77 community that we built together with dtube was  like a second family for me. 

I thought me being honest & transparent was my weakness and I learned that it's my strength.

DHF proposals aren't that "visible" to the ordinary members and people don't understand how powerful tools are they... I have to admit that I don't visit often the proposals page, but I should... Also, your calling out "ordinary" people to start HIVE witness nodes, and creating these proposals are very important! 

I know that a lot of people think that HIVE is driven by a couple of people who decides about everything, but the power should be in every person on the chain... And even if we think that it is like that, only WE can change that by "spreading" the wealth, our votes to different people, different proposals, etc... 

You are doing a tremendous job on Twitter and I hope that your proposal will get funded as it is important to keep the "presence of Hive" around mainstream media... Until we become enough big that they need us...

Any special reason for giving up? Is it lack of support? I really appreciate what you have been trying to do, but we all have our limits. I think we have to focus efforts where they do the most good. I think it can be hard to get heard on Twitter above all the noise.

#### No! Nathanmars isn't giving up.

To fully concentrate on marketing and promoting Hive on Twitter requires a lot of time dedicated to it. Consistently marketing Hive of Twitter will absolutely leave him with no time to create Hive content. 

And this is another reason why he has made a DHF proposal requesting for funds to incentivize those who sacrifices there time to promote/market Hive on Twitter. Because when one begins to consistently market/promote Hive on Twitter he/she will be left with little or no time to create Hive contents. And trust me, a lot would rather choose to create Hive content so they can earn rather than burning out their time promoting Hive on Twitter. But when there's incentives to compensate their effort, I believe they won't really care much sacrificing their time dedicated for content creation to promote Hive on Twitter.

Nathanmars may not care much about earning from Hive, but he cares a lot more about the community members such as I and many others who depends on our Hive earning to make a living. If he will be taking community members time by requesting them to promote/market Hive on Twitter consistently, then he needs a way to compensate community members for their time.

I don't personally see a lot of value in "shilling" hive that much on Twitter. I love Nathan and it hurts to say this, but the way he's going on about it, along with Hiro, looks like they're trying to sell snake-oil to people on Hive. I am sure he's doing this for all the best intentions and I'm sure others have told him before what I'm writing now, but the amount of energy he's putting into it is _too much_. I've had many users, both non-hive and semi-hive invested ones from other chains ask me about the spam and who Nathan is. I know there's been times he's had an impact, the Kim dot com tweet recently was surely because of him, but in general it might be doing more damage to Hive than good.

The worst part is that both him and all of us know the advantages to Hive and that this is the real deal compared to 99.9% of shitcoins and centralized platforms out there so it's really sad that a lot of his actions may have negative consequences to Hive's image and what it is.

I hope he might reconsider doing something else or improving the way he runs his twitter activity to be less spammy but more efficient. Other than that I'd rather see a professional marketing campaign being funded, maybe even Twitter ads?

We're definitely not giving up bro!

It's time for HIVE elite party members to understand that my leadership is bringing more people in our community together and attracting more people to HIVE. 

Top 20 witnesses haven't changed and the people who're benefiting from DHF funding are the same people. 

There is wide cap between our HIVE elites and our global HIVE community. 

There is even more wider cap between HIVE community and wider crypto community. People who talk shill HIVE inside our hive network does very little or no shilling HIVE on Twitter. 

CZ and Charles Hoskinson spends most of their energy on Twitter for reason.

Vision of Seven77 Twitter campaign was to bring investors to steem. 
- First I had bring the community that built with dtube to Twitter
- I begged our steem stakeholders to contribute to Twitter marketing
- Tried very hard, gave everything I had and run out of energy in the end
- Never blamed anyone for my own failures.

One of the main reason I came back to HIVE because my heart was with our community. My first two post with HIVE was apologising and taking responsibility for my own Steem failures.

Most of our stakeholders busy protecting their stakes when steemit.inc laid off 70% workforce, I offered Ned Scott that I'm willing to work for free for 2 years help our steem community (and he never responded). That time I was voluntarily building a wonderful community with Dtube and I was all in with dtube to help dtube to become the killer steem dapp. Stopped dtube and start hunting investors for Steem with our Seven77 Twitter movement. Stopped creating content on Steem and invested all my energy on Twitter. My vision was to bring new investors to steem with seven77. Yes I begged our stakeholders to help with this Steem Twitter marketing.

Me first time becoming father and living in a new country and burning all my money to help our steem community has very much affected my own ability to hunt for Steem investor.

It was crypto bear market then, I personally met Roger Ver of Bitcoin Cash and Jon Kim (Charlie Lee's right hand man ) of LiteCoin to only pitch steem.

In summary, there is two main reason I quit steem and never claimed that our steem community is the reason for my own failures.

- I run out of energy towards the end my steem journey
- I forget that I had my own family to take care while I was extremely dedicated to take care of our steem community.

I'm extremely grateful for experiences that I had with steem. Even when I was away from steem I wanted steem to succeed. Now I came back to HIVE and having spent almost a year, I figured out a biggest problem that I could solve for our HIVE network and it's my job to pitch my vision to get this proposal approved without playing politics/drama. I have no agenda than help our community to grow and I maintain high integrity.

We as a community learned so much in the last 5 years with all the ups and downs and I know everyone has their own story. I'm someone who has founder mentality and maintain high integrity and learning to understand that you can please everybody.

This is my third proposal, Never got enough feedback with my personal proposal regarding Twitter Marketing. If you have any specific question regarding the proposal itself please let me know and that's the main reason I wrote this blog.

If the main reason you wrote this blog was to encourage people to ask questions about your proposal, then I think you missed the mark as it sounds more like an ultimatum - i.e. if my proposal isn't funded in 8 days I'm no longer posting on Hive (although we may have to agree to disagree if two sentences constitutes "content").

I understand and appreciate the passion you have for our blockchain home and I'm sure you're doing this with good intentions and not in an attempt to line your own pockets. However, the optics of you "shilling" (you understand that's not a positive word, right?) so hard on Twitter after declaring (back when you were doing your 1-on-1 interviews) that @theycallmedan was paying you to work at Hive as a "full-time job" really didn't sit right for me. Yes, I understand people have bills to pay and should be compensated for work, but representing our community on other social media as a self-declared paid shill feeds into the idea that $Hive is a shitcoin and needs to pay people to say it's not.

And now you apparently want to expand that idea by having the DAO send you 200 HBD each day for a year so you can pay other people to do the same, but with no clear plan as to how it will be distributed. You're also blaming the "Hive Elite" (who I'm guessing are the top 20 consensus witnesses?) for the lack of proposal support. As someone who is just another community member like you, I think if you stopped essentially saying, "just trust me to put the money to good use" and started putting together an actual framework ( @ybanezkim26 has an excellent list of questions that I agree should be addressed in his [reply to you](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@ybanezkim26/qryvms)), you might have a better result.

How do you plan to measure the success of your Twitter marketing if in case your proposal gets funded? What are the metrics and on whose standard should we benchmark your campaign? How will you differentiate your marketing campaign over those normal users who share their thoughts and ideas about Hive and even posh their Hive links? What makes your Twitter campaign special that the community should pay you 200 HBD/day for your shilling efforts? Shouldn't others receive too for shilling Hive on Twitter?

Where's the link of your proposal so that we can examine it? What's the purpose of this post? To gain attention? To give an ultimatum? Could you elaborate on how Hive will get back the 200 HBD/day that you requested? How will you convince a potential investor? Beg them? Why would they care about you and your token over hundreds of others?

These are just some of the questions that came to me after reading this post. I have a couple more, but I got tired of typing.

First of all thank you for asking some valuable questions and it's encouraging. 

By the way, I preparing a final version of this proposal now and it will have more details in it. However I will go ahead and answer your questions.

We have only 10 Millionaires people on my target list. We're planning to bring at least one HIVE investor and one HIVE partnership. If you see the list of those people in the latest iteration of the proposal, you will find out they're not ordinary people.

This is a year long journey. There will be series of trial & errors, experiments to figure out a way to pitch HIVE to the Hive Angels(list of 10 people). Stakeholders gets monthly update from me via my own blog how the money was invested and the progress of Hive Angel hunting.

First I wanted to remind you that HIVE only has owners. Not users. 

Imagine new person join hive had 5 hive in his/her wallet and creating contents daily and also set up a witness node but never spent anytime trying to connect with our community then his/her contents will go without noticing as well as witness node. 

Me someone who is extremely passionate about decentralisation/freedom, someone who gave literally everything that he had to steem community and invested 2 years of life and all of his money and now almost invested a year of his life with HIVE pitching HIVE to the HIVE Angels is very powerful.

I've built a social capital with our global community and I was the one who originally stared to bring our Steem community to Twitter with Seven77 Twitter movement and I had the similar vision back then to hunt investors because steemit.inc laid off 70% staff (please read more in the screenshot).


I invested last 10 months on Twitter, on average 5-10 hours a day and witnessing cryptofinally leaving HIVE, Stellabella stoped her plan with HIVE marketing and twitter shilling, theycallmedan's Twitter account suspension and along with some of the community members disappearing from Twitter shilling, I stayed on course with leading the Twitter shilling and focused on building a solid foundation for years to come. I know it's not my solo effort and someone has to fully dedicated their energy to Twitter shilling. 

I realised that I'm gonna take accountability to lead our Twitter shilling and put up my third proposal and I named this is as our proposal. My original plan was to reinvest 100% back into our community members who shill HIVE on Twitter. However my final version of the proposal might be look like 20% for me and 80% for community members. 

It's bit like HiveFest, The organiser get funded by DHF where HiveFest is only valuable because community members turn up to the event. Where as HiveFest only happens once a year and only bring just our community together, Twitter Shilling happens 24/7/365 which help us to built connections with wider crypto community and all the participants gets rewarded based on their contribution. I won't let people gamify this rewarding strategies. 

Also note this proposal for only english for speaking community.

On what other people think?  Now I'm the one who doesn't understand.....
  If you believe in Hive act for Hive.... There are many here who are and don't even believe in Hive..... Are you going to demobilize for them? It doesn't seem right to me. Others cannot determine your actions.
