Time for an update on the Community Incubation Program, we've received quite a bit of new applications and even added a few new ones. For those of you who've started new and unique communities focused at a certain genre that has the potential to raise a lot of activity and doesn't exist yet, please feel free to apply for our incubation program, either by writing in the comment section of these posts or contacting us on [our Discord in the community-incubation channel](https://discord.gg/bnGc4BU).

_For those not knowing why we're doing these posts, it's to highlight diverse communities and get them some delegation and curation support from the rest of stakeholders. Communities are the strongest when there's a broad selection of different ones for newcomers to choose and find what they're interested in. Since there's no great way to monetize the work community leaders and their curators put behind each we are supporting them with HP delegation matching the subscriber amount they have and rewarding their curation reports so they can grow and reward their curators on a constant basis. This is why in the list above we are linking both to the communities and curation accounts so readers can easily find them and subscribe to the ones they're interested in and help them out with vote trailing or delegations if they want to support them._

He'll be updating these charts on a monthly basis and adding new communities to it as well. Hopefully many new ones coming in will push the current top communities in the first chart onto the second one. :)

I'd like to take the opportunity to say *Thank You*, I absolutely love the community concept, and am glad that you are initially focusing on non-general communities. When I go to a book store and want to read on a specific subject, I don't like fining children's books mixed in with technical or automotive manuals. most of the Niche communities that I visit are doing a great job at keeping the community on track. So thank you for the support of these communities.

I have an Alt account that has some unused HP, do I need to do anything special when I delegate HP to OCDB, `We would appreciate it if you want to delegate to @ocdb and earn some daily returns`? It would only be about 100 HP, the rest I use for small 25 HP delegations to new users I find.

Hello friend, I recently just saw your incubation post, I have created together with a whole team, a community to support all the musicians on the platform, where we are doing weekly contests and paid challenges with the aim of supporting each talent.
 Currently we have 4 active tasks in the community, Retro Music, was created with the aim of promoting the music of the 60s, 70,80,90, and so far this week, INSTRUMENTAL EXECUTION, to support all musicians who play instruments, FAVORITE MOVIE THEME, each participant must interpret a song from their favorite movie, and LA VOZ DISNEY, where we have created initiatives for each child to present their singing talent, there we have categories of adult and child , all the Contests mentioned have weekly prizes.


The community we have created is called [Live Hive Studios](https://hive.blog/trending/hive-141487), and the administrator account is called @marvalstudios, this whole team is made up of artists, foundations and external investors who are committed to the development of the platform .., Thanks for your attention.

We have music creator from different countries that post everyday because we don't have language barriers, even people from other projects like @cabelindsay from [Hive Open Mic](https://peakd.com/c/hive-105786) and @edwardstobia with the <b>Hive Music Festival</b> are within the community spreading the word about our dedicated space to music creators to connect with others musicians.

For a New World Freedom community, a pure Democracy governance of the community would be required imo. Hive does not yet offer this as the governance is a DPOS heavily influenced by large shareholders. Whilst it is better than most, it is still not good enough, imo. A Hive community could however use a differential governance system. I propose The Matrix-8 Solution.

Great initiative - what makes me feel good - even my old music community did not made the cut for support to see in the comments that there are even more music communities on Hive as I thiught. 

Which also brings be to the issue we have - discussed with @edje often - instead of tons of music communities we should rather join forces with joint challenges etc. - not complaining -will follow all the new communities out there and see how ym community can even help a little bit there.
