Las líneas son unos de los elementos más importantes en el dibujo, nacida del punto cómo una sucesión de varios puntos o la prolongación de este (cómo diría Kandinsky), tiene muchas variedades y da a lugar otros elementos (figuras geométricas, por ejemplo). Muy buena práctica, utilizar las tramas para el dibujo resulta bastante útil y bueno. Muchos dibujantes lo utilizan recurrentemente. Y bueno Matisse es incrible, sobre todo el color en sus obras.
