The unforgiving custom of the Ugely kingdom has created a huge fear in the town by eliminating their future one after the other. 

"Soliloquy"

Michael was thinking about the future of Ugly's kingdom. Hehe, what do we do now? The Council of elders and the king had passed the judgement on another son of this town, youths in this town must take a step to stop bad customs to save their futures. 

There was tapping on his shoulder, what is the matter to the extent that you were able to yourself? You have to take things easy because too much thinking can cause a shortage of blood thereby unforeseen circumstances will arise. Said, Timothy.

Michael's eyes had changed to brown and looked at Timothy. Oh, you are here! So what is happening in this town did not bother you at all. They are about to execute another person in the next two days and we are folding our arms as if nothing is happening.

Timothy replied. Hmm, it is not that everyone is happy with the situation of things but we can't stop it. Custom is the custom we have to keep on praying for so that we will not be the victims of it. 

Michael was more furious.  Stop saying it! Who says that we can't do anything about it, this barbaric custom was pronounced by human beings and it was executed by human beings. They are changing the road that leads to the farm not to talk words of mouth. Anything can change at any time, it depends on how we view it. Look at the guy they have put behind the bar, a quiet and easy-going man who had contributed to the progress of this town. Without him, no one will know anything about this kingdom but due to his level of education he was able to fight for the local government area and allocation has been paid directly to it. He does not deserve it because we don't know who is going to be the next victim.

I would like to ask one question, what is his actual offence? Because elders suppose to think twice before they will take such decisions. This man is a rising star in the kingdom and we should not fold our hands and allow small ants to touch him whatsoever. Said, Timothy.

Michael nodded. So you want to tell me that you don't know what is going on? Some Ladies went to the king's palace to report Joshua to the king that he had canal knowledge of one of them and they got to the palace when the council of elders was having a monthly meeting. 

What do we do now? The King has passed the judgement on him already. Said the Timothy.

Michael cuts in. Hey, look here there are many things we can do to reverse the judgement.

How? In what way? Said the Timothy.

Michael said there is one man in this town, his name is Samson. God has endowed him with a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to address important issues with no stress. 

Timothy exclaimed, you mean he is so brilliant to resolve this matter? Then let's go and meet him to do it. 

No! Let us discuss this issue with the youth leader so that it will not be as if we are doing it alone. Before we go, we will arrange something for him to make it work faster. Trust me, he would do more than our expectations. Said the Michael.

The following day, the youth leader and other guys went to Mr Samson's home. And they met him at his doorsteps because he was about to go out.

Michael said peace unto you, Mr Samson. Thank God, we met you at home. 

Hehe, what is the matter? I am seeing you at my house. I hope everything is alright. Said Mr Samson.

Timothy responded. Oh, no, we are here to seek your assistance concerning the barbaric custom of our dear kingdom. Many glorious children had gone through this wicked custom and we want you to use your wisdom to convince our king to reverse Joshua's case. See this man had contributed so much to the progress of the kingdom positively. We don't want anything happens to him. Please! 

Hmmm, you know what to do if you want me to do it the way you want. An empty mouth can not make noise. So do the needful things. Said, Samson.

Michael was surprised. Oh! Do you mean your reward? We have arranged it very well. 

Okay, if that is settled, consider it done. I will make sure he is free from bondage. Said Samson.

The same day in the afternoon, the king was addressing a land dispute between the two able men and Samson got there.

The king, I salute you. The second command of the gods is you shall live long. I came here in respect of Joshua's case. Said Samson.

The King cuts in. So you are here because of the case we have passed judgement, tomorrow is the day we will execute him according to our traditions. Talk about something else!

Ah! King and our elders, you are watching to allow evildoers to use against the righteous person. So you believed that Joshua could do it. Please I will suggest reviewing this case so the innocent will not be in the position of the wicked. Let us summon this girl in question and tell her to swear at the shrine, and she accused Joshua wrongly the gods of thunder shall strike her immediately but if she is on the truth gods will free her. Said Samson.

"The king said is that what you want?"

Yes, we will know the truth through that. Said the Samson.

Immediately, the king sent to the girl in question that her attention is needed at the Palace now.

When she got palace, she was crying like a crocodile. And she was told to swear immediately on the shrine before going home and the consequences were explained to her in detail.

The King said hehe, you know, no one among your friends here who will pity you. You better think very well before doing anything.

That was how she was she started to confess. Oh, God! It was her friend that planned with her to deal with Joshua because all our efforts to lure him to bed failed and we have to use our power to deal with him. As you realized that no one will hear female crying that will not listen. Please forgive me, sir. Said the lady.

The King pronounced wow! So what they were was true, we have indicted an innocent man just like that. 

Thank you Samson to help us get to the root of this matter without punishing the wrong person. This is my judgement, all those involved in this matter should be arrested for the crime and face the consequences of the law. Henceforth, no execution of our future generations again. That was how Joshua was released from custody and his friends were happy to see him again.
