The first one in the first screenshot is mine and if you read it it's actually about steem, hive and leo, not just leo as you rated it. It's true that diversification is more appealing, but that's leofinance and that's what people are posting about, what can one do. It used to be the same with hive and it will probably be the same with every new and hyped app that the blockchain will host in the future...

Of course, lets all ass kiss blocktrades and theycallmedan, for some leftover upvotes, and participate in their initiatives, writing about whatever topics they wish and act like pupils in school... That would be great.

I always hated trends and following them, and will always do. If bloggers around here don't have that much imagination to write their own posts on their own topics and are satisfied with just following trails and trends, be it, we deserve our situation then.

This shout for awake to a financial reality is much needed and long overdue.

One domain that I would like to see more - although I can name two authors consistently writing on - would be stocks market, trading tips and analysis. I thought that this would be a big part of this community but doesn't seem to be so.

Another thing is for people to share more from their own experiences, to give some points to others to earn and not just keep secrets. A community is build on sharing and giving, if we will not wrap our minds around this and provide really useful information we will not be a healthy ecosystem in time.

Lol I hardly post about LEO and HIVE but it doesn't pay off as much as posting about LEO and HIVE if I look at my returns, so I guess people feel that pinch and try to play into it. Additionally, a lot of posts I see aren't even your personal take on something, it's literally repurposing news, like at least give your own angle. 

Unforutaltey, your post complaining about it talks about LEO/HIVE gets on the top spots, so clearly its a bias of note. I think that perhaps a rewarding premium on non-leo/hive posts should be considered when curating.

I think this is to be expected during the early days. People get excited about the networks they have personal stake in.  Lots of Meta-Conversation takes place. 

Also, I don't think it's fair to call Dcity: Hive.  
Anything built on Hive is Hive?  
Does that mean Link, Maker, and every other ERC-20 token are Ethereum? 

I will take in mind what you're saying there. It's true :)

The list in this screenshot is honestly embarrassing...  How can we seriously promote this to serious investors/analysts.

Once new people come to LeoFinance, they want to read about actual finance content.  

**If you're a LEO whale, please take some responsibility and push outward facing content to the top of the trending/featured list.**

On the LeoFinance homepage, we currently have that featured posts section at the top.  

Again, it's always filled with content saying how great LeoFinance is, rather than any actual market analysis.

Is it possible for us to build a page where a curator can feature only outward facing content? 

This is the sort of page that new users need to see, while all the posts talking about LeoFinance and news announcements are just for those already here.

### If You're Writing Posts About LeoFinance, but not Finance Itself
**If you're going to write about how great LeoFinance is, then you should be doing it off the platform.**

No, you won't get short term liquid LEO rewards, but you will be building long term value in your LP investment by onboarding and attracting real talent.

One way is to find non-branded questions on Quora and answering them in a way that says how great LeoFinance is.

Right now if I Google 'best finance community', there's a Quora question at P2:

Instead of circle jerking in our echo chamber, answer a question on a high traffic, external page like that.

Another easy win is hitting our competitors.  Google 'sites like seeking alpha' and there's high traffic Reddit threads in P1 and another Quora questions at P2:

I admit that out of my **12** posts I have published during these past 6 days (since I became a "lion"), **11** of them have been about LEO or Hive in some sense. **2** of them have been "power up posts". Personally, I would say that the majority of my posts so far have value, because the end goal have been to educate, encourage and/or inspire people to market LEO and Hive in a better way than we're used to see. It is also due to the fact that I feel motivated, encouraged and I have quickly become a huge fan of LEO. *(Everything I have published has **not** reached the trending pages though).*

The same goes for the posts about engagement & self-votes. I have focused much on the importance of engagement because I truly don't want to see LEO go down the same route as both Steem and Hive. Engagement matters, and I have showcased my own results and I've been talking about it because of that, and to kick-start some more engagement.

That being said, I totally agree with the things you said. I don't want to see 10 out of 10 LEO posts sitting on trending, even though I actually believe that **some** of these posts are **good** to have on trending as they are literally the first articles a new user will see. I mean, some sort of "testimonials" to prove that LEO is a great thing is nice for new users to see, regardless of how much advertising they've seen.

I often push my content outside of LEO and Hive as well, so having "information-type" of articles about LEO/Hive is perfect when it comes to advertising, but it obviously depends on **how** you do things. A well-written article about "PayPal going crypto" could just as easily be promoted if done right. That would draw attention from the masses as well..

On a side note though, it's easy to write stuff about something when it either flourish or burns. The middle-ground doesn't really attract content consumers. And for new LEO users, writing about LEO is probably one of the easiest things you can do.

Well I think the dust will settle with time. I try to give my best with leo, content wise I could say I'm doing fair enough. I write contents on advertising and well public relations and finance. Hopefully with time other finance based except hive or leo or crypto will gain traction. Not yet for me anyway

I agree with this, 100%. We can’t control what people post or how people vote, but I really like the idea of running different initiatives to target certain topics. Now that we have metamask onboarding, we need to make content that continuously targets niches in the Ethereum ecosystem so we can get clicks back to the site and signups.

I’m working on some official stuff like this, but also would like to see users running initiatives too. If anyone wants to do it and is looking for some backing for prizes, I’m game.

Agreed. Leo whales are active to send massage on other crypto posts using the Leofinance tag but when they vote on a post, they preferred few people again and again. I post about Crypto's new game Rabona in the Leo community, I got a message that only Leo and Hive related stuff accepted on leofinace.

Spot on. The platform centricity is something is understandable on Hive and particular before Communities were launched. But here it is actually necessary to post and start heavily rewarding posts about something else.

I tried to onbird some friends, they all went away because of nit to much vontent deversity snd to much statistics etc...

I think, it will be good to call out what kind of diversified content we are looking for - and even commit to reward them. People do better when given goals, instead of just telling them to come up with something that may make the feed better.
