In this sense, in my daily reading I found this beautiful fragment that on other occasions I had already allowed myself to read but today I want to reflect on it to share it with this excellent community.
 
The fragment deals with an extraordinary reflection on NELSON MANDELA    who expressed the following after having lived through very difficult times, which says:

**After I became president, I asked my escort to go to a restaurant for lunch. We sat down and each of us asked for what he wanted.
At the front table, there was a man, waiting to be served. When he was served, I said to one of my soldiers: go ask that gentleman to join us. The soldier went and conveyed my invitation. The man got up, took the plate from him, and sat right next to me.
As he ate his hands were constantly shaking and he did not raise his head from his food. When we finished, he said goodbye to me without hardly looking at me, I shook his hand and left.
The soldier commented to me:
Madiva, that man must be very sick, since his hands did not stop shaking while he ate.
Not at all! the reason for his trembling is another.
Then I told them:
-That man was the guardian of the jail where I was. After he tortured me, I screamed and cried asking for some water and he came he humiliated me, he laughed at me and instead of giving me water, he urinated on my head.
He was not sick, he was scared waiting for me, now the president of South Africa, to send him to jail and do the same to him that he he he did to me. But I am not like that, that behavior is not part of my character, nor of my ethics.

Life experiences always leave a lesson, sometimes for the better, other times for the worse, but this particular teaching leaves a great and very motivating lesson for all those people who really want to live with values and in peace, because not everyone reflects with empathy and recognizes that bad experiences must turn into good

In fact, this fragment leaves several teachings highlighting the human value of an extraordinary being who after having gone through very hard times and great tribulations did not want his story to be repeated in anyone and even in the one who had made him suffer hardships knew what it was the suffering in the flesh.

It also teaches us that the appearances are deceiving and that what we see sometimes is not what is really demonstrated because the soldier and those who were in action with the current president saw an action in the invited man "trembling in his hands" which they defined him as sick but that wasn't really the reason

When people hurt someone and life confronts them again, they always expect him to act in the same way that they acted, that is, if he treated him badly, he hurt him and made him suffer likewise, he hopes that he will return it but in this case not It happened that way and it must be recognized that one of the things that we experience daily in society is revenge anxiety

In this way we observe a great example and worthy of imitation because this great man teaches moral aspects of behavior, enhancing human sensitivity and did not give him the same treatment that he once gave when he had the power to do so, he also showed him that the Power should not be used to abuse it but to exercise it with justice and doing good

Identity and recognition in people who made stories in their actions and attitudes to maintain an ethical attitude in life, it is really commendable and worthy of imitation

Another important aspect that stands out as a value in this fragment is the following affirmed by Mandela
“Minds that seek revenge destroy states, while those that seek reconciliation build nations. As I walked out the door to my freedom, I knew that if I didn't release all the anger, hatred, and resentment, he would still be a prisoner. "

**Friend,  revenge is an act that consists of retaliation against a person or group in response to a perceived wrongdoing. ... It consists of forcing whoever has done something wrong to suffer the same pain that he inflicted and really if someone wants to improve themselves in life they must stop destroying themselves through revenge, anger, hatred and resentment since these are anti-values ​​that destroy human life**

It is also shown that a person tied to this type of manifestation will never be free but will be prisoners of their own actions and Mandala shows that freedom is one of the most precious values ​​of the human being

Certainly the freedom of a person influences his character by practicing values in his actions that will definitely lead him to his destiny and he will live with inner peace but when revenge is fed, hatred, resentment and anger, this will really make the heart sick and obviously the actions and people's mental health will be affected
