Yesterday marked the end of the two-day Conf3rence event in Dortmund. Together with @detlev, @louis88, @solarwarrior, @lordbutterfly, @ssekulji, @driipam, and @roelandp, we once again demonstrated what HIVE can do, what HIVE is, and explained how easy it is to register and get started. Whether developers, influencers, or companies—the discussions couldn't have been more diverse.

gestern ging die zweitägige Conf3rence Veranstaltung in Dortmund zuende. Mit @detlev, @louis88, @solarwarrior, @lordbutterfly, @ssekulji, @driipam, @roelandp haben wir erneut gezeigt was HIVE alles kann, was HIVE ist und erklärt, wie einfach es ist sich zu registrieren und loszulegen. Ob Developer, Influencer oder Unternehmen - die Gespräche konnten nicht vielfältiger ausfallen.

## The conf3rence

On the very first day, @detlev gave a talk on the main stage. As the speaker slot was quite short, Detlev gave a terrific presentation. He ended his powerful presentation by asking people to visit our booth for further information, and a few minutes later our booth was already very busy.

Direkt am ersten Tag hatte @detlev einen Speak auf der Hauptbühne. Da der Speaker-Slot recht knapp von der Zeit bemessen war, hat Detlev seine Präsentation grandios vorgestellt. Mit der Bitte, sich für weitere Infos sich an unseren Stand zu begeben, endete seine starke Präsentation und wenige Minuten später war unser Stand bereits sehr gut besucht.

Many great conversations took place during these two intense days—new connections were made, and even @louis88 was able to onboard 16 new Hivians during this time. Viele tolle Gespräche entstanden während dieser zwei intensiven Tage - neue Verbindungen wurden geschlossen, selbst @louis88 konnte in dem Zeitraum direkt 16 neue Hivians onboarden. # The Merchandise

At first, I wasn't entirely convinced that 250 Hive-recycled drinking bottles would be a good marketing strategy. On the second day, I was proven wrong and they all sold out. When it comes to choosing merchandise, it's safe to say that it has already paid off.

Ich hatte am Anfang nicht ganz geglaubt, dass 250 Hive-recycled Trinkflaschen eine gute Marketingstrategie wäre. Ich wurde am 2. Tag eines besseren belehrt und sie sind alle weggegangen. Bei der Auswahl des Merchandise kann man auf jedenfall sagen dass sich das bereits gelohnt hat.

In addition to the water bottle, we also designed a flyer made of paper and seeds. Once you've created your Hive account, you tear it up, throw it in the garden, water the spot, and after a short time you can enjoy newly planted flowers!

There was also a packet full of sunflower seeds.

Neben der Trinkflasche haben wir auch einen Flyer entworfen der aus Papier und Samen besteht. Nachdem man sich also seinen Hive-Account erstellt hat, schmeißt man diesen dann zerrissen in den Garten, gießt die Stelle und erfreut sich nach kurzer Zeit dann über neu bepflanzte Blumen!

Nebenbei gab es dann auch ein Päckchen voller Sonnenblumen-Samen.

# The Rallye Car

Until shortly before the event, I had no idea that our @ssekulji would be coming by with his HIVE rally car. When we parked the car right at the entrance to Conf3rence the day before the event, the first interesting conversations already started.

Ich hatte bis kurz vor dem Event noch keine Ahnung dass unser @ssekulji mit seinem HIVE Rallye Car vorbeikommt. Als wir das Auto am Tag vor der Veranstaltung direkt am Eingang der Conf3rence platziert haben kamen bereits die ersten interessanten Gespräche zustande.

With an amazing team consisting of @ssekulji and @driipam, lots of merchandise was handed out to visitors over the two days of the event. Every now and then, someone would dare to sit in the rally car, take a photo, and possibly soon share their story on HIVE.

Mit einem Wahnsinnsteam von @ssekulji und @driipam wurden an den beiden Veranstaltungstagen viel Merchandise an die Besucher verteilt. Hin und wieder traute sich jemand sich in das RallyeCar zu setzen, sich zu fotografieren und womöglich bald auch seine Story davon auf HIVE zu präsentieren.

# The @Worldmappin Effect

For many visitors we spoke with, the use case for dApps was always at the forefront. Here, we often presented the Worldmappin effect.

We often presented Worldmappin as TripAdvisor 3.0. High-quality, decentralized travel content that offers travelers significantly more value than other platforms.
This point immediately clicked with most people, and they understood how dApps like @worldmappin work on HIVE.

Bei vielen Besuchern mit denen wir ein Gespräch hatten war immer der Usecase für dApps im Vordergrund. Hier haben wir oft den Worldmappin Effekt präsentiert.

Oft haben wir Worldmappin als TripAdvisor 3.0 präsentiert. Qualitativer, dezentraler Reisecontent der Reisenden einen deutlich mehrwertigen Content bietet als auf anderen Plattformen.
Dieser Punkt hat bei den meisten direkt Klick gemacht und haben verstanden, wie dApps wie @worldmappin auf HIVE funktionieren.

Our @detlev decided on the spur of the moment to expand @worldmappin as a dApp on Solana. He presented WMP in a 3-minute pitch. The audience liked the presentation, and I'm excited to see what comes of it.

Unser @detlev hatte sich kurzerhand dazu entschlossen, @worldmappin als dApp auf Solana zu erweitern. in einem 3 Minütigen Pitch hat er WMP vorgestellt. den Zuschauern hat die Vorstellung gefallen, ich bin gespannt was hier daraus wird.

# Conclusion

It was an exciting few days in Dortmund at conf3rence. Given the number of discussions we had as a team, I am sure that something fruitful will develop. For HIVE or any other connections to make HIVE more visible. In general, it can be said that such physical events draw a lot of attention to HIVE. Even visitors with old Steem accounts were reactivated thanks to our presence at conf3rence. 
It was a great event for me, I was happy to be there and, of course, to see the above-mentioned users again. I'm looking forward to @hivefest 10 in Kuala Lumpur :)

Es waren aufregende Tage in Dortmund auf der conf3rence. Bei der Anzahl an Gesprächen die wir als Team zusammen hatten, bin ich sicher dass sich was fruchtbares entwickelt. Für HIVE oder etwaige andere Konnektivitäten um HIVE präsenter zu machen. Generell kann man sagen das solch physischen Events doch einen großen Augenmerk auf HIVE zieht. Sogar Besucher mit einem alten Steem Account konnten durch unsere Präsenz auf der conf3rence reaktiviert werden. 
Für mich war es ein tolles Event, habe mich gefreut dabei gewesen zu sein und natürlich auch die oben genannten User wieder zusehen. Eine Vorfreude für das @hivefest 10 in Kuala Lumpur :)
