Can You Get Addicted To Steem in an Unhealthy Way ?? I Think So...

In other wards can you get so consumed by interacting and engaging on our Block Chain  , that it  starts to  interfere with your regular daily activities in Life ??

### I Admit I Think Sometimes...
maybe I could be guilty of it. Well kinda , sorta. As some of you know I make it a HUGE priority to Visit and Comment on other Steemians' Blog and Vlogs. I get so wrapped up in it sometimes to a degree that 4 or 5 hours will pass ,and I do not even realize it has.

### Also....
I am constantly looking for new ideas as fodder for my next Content Creation. I will carry a notebook around during the day and take notes when an idea comes to mind that may make a good blog or vlog post.

### However...
I would not call my time spent on Steem  ( or thinking about it) as an addiction. More so a healthy Passion. It really does not get in the way of my Family and personal responsibilities.

### How about you?
Have you ever felt obsessed with getting on your Computer and doing steem?? 
Do you feel it's an addiction or  an obsession that gets in the way of doing your personal daily activities in  Life?

Yes, for sure.  That is a big part of the reason I started taking the weekends off from STEEM.  I also had the issue yesterday where I was really running behind and I had to make the decision to just not even get caught up on the stuff that got posted this weekend.  It was really hard not commenting on everything, but I knew it would push me even further behind if I tried.  I am just glad all of my autovotes went out so the people know I didn't abandon them :)

I suppose it's *possible* to call some of this an addiction... but I have been blogging and using various forms of social media for about 20 years, and the main thing I'd observe is that my time spent here is time I am *not* spending on Facebook or elsewhere... but I stay pretty cognizant of not obsessing too much over my time here... 

For example, the post I just set free I actually wrote this morning with my coffee... *mostly,* and I finally got around to putting it out there, almost 9 hours later.

When you can not do without something , it becomes addiction . But since that which you do is not in anyway affect you life negetively ,you are good to go . I do steemit on daily basis but stop since I went for national service and no network coverage there , I can only do it like now I came to pick something in the urban area.

I would have to admit that there have been times when I have had to seriously check myself and the "constant need" to hop on to Steem throughout the day, whether in front of my laptop or out and about on my phone. Over time I have realised that there needs to be a balance... you cannot constantly be saying "no" or "later" to real world activities and responsibilities... I also used to get my knickers in a knot if I didn't post every day... not anymore. If I am not feeling it, then it is as simple as that...

I spend the first hour or so on my iPad checking the site while having coffee and breakfast. I think it’s great if you have the time as it stimulates your mind posting and commenting. 

 Learning about crypto And maybe making some  is an extra incentive. 

I don’t feel I’m totally addicted. When I’m away from home for a few days I don’t take my iPad and am ok about a break from it.

I too prefer to call it a healthy passion and not an addiction, often posts i read make me think such as this one or see places I may never visit so I think thats a good thing or mayby its just something i say to myself
