In Nigeria, most times we normally suffer from network issues and it can be really frustrating when we have important things to do and then the network just blank out, leaving us behind. The main network we have in Nigeria is Mtn, Airtel, Glo, and 9 mobile, different people to their choice of network most people do prefer Mtn to Glo and some other prefer Airtel to Mtn.

But for me l think all network has their good and bad side depending on the location in which they work, like Mtn in the urban areas usually have good network speed compare to the rural areas and is more expensive than Airtel and Glo, Airtel is fast in terms of network and is recognized for it's good internet connections but not in all areas and it is more lesser than Mtn in terms of data, Glo can be really competitive in terms of data plan but usually experience slower speed in certain areas, while 9 mobile can be a good choice for those who live in areas with strong mobile coverage where they can offer fast internet connection. So I would like to share an experience.


When l was done writing my NECO (National examination council), l was home for some time so l decided to get a job while waiting for my admission into the university due to the fact that a young girl like me can't just be idle at home. A company not too close to my house was looking for workers with any qualifications then, so l submitted my CV and application letter the manager told me they will get back to me. I waited for their calls several weeks to the extent l got tired of waiting, so one evening l decided to check again that was when the manager told me they've been trying to reach me through my Glo line l dropped at the application letter but it kept saying not reachable and now the interview is over they are no longer looking for workers again. I got really disappointed and cried but there is nothing l could do about it, since then l adopted the habit of using more than one sim card incase one network fails me and anybody is trying to reach me.


For me my preferred network is Mtn because it is really fast in terms of internet connectivity in my location, despite the fact that it is expensive the network is top notch, my Glo line most of the times can be quite tiring because l can't even use it to browse or make calls so l usually switch to my Mtn sometimes.


One advice l would like to give to everybody is choose a network that best suits your needs, concerning the area in which the network works, the cost and data usage. My Opinion is that no network is the best every network has the location it works and the location it doesn't.
