I think so."*** -Samostically </center> <br>  pHBD (Polygon wrapped HBD) was introduced by the LeoFinance team recently and it has brought a lot of attention. At first glance, it looks like just another development to help polycub/Polygon Blockchain. However, with deep Analysis, pHBD is designed to do much more. With the HBD APY increased to 20%, I believe the polygon wrapped HBD came at a very good time. @khaleelkazi has been very optimistic about the pHBD-Usdc pool reaching 5M in liquidity. While the pool might be far from 1M now, here are some reasons why I think the pHBD-USDC could get to 5M in liquidity. ___ #### Mass Adoption For HBD ___ Mass adoption for HBD and the Hive ecosystem has been talked about a lot during this period. We can see that it has led to the increase in the APY by the witnesses. When HBD was 12% we all saw a need for it to be increased to compete with other stable coins. For Hive to go bigger and attract big investors and people in general, An increase in the APY of HBD was important. What next for HBD? Liquidity Pools! The thing about HBD is, that everyone loves it because of its somewhat stable nature. However, HBD isn't as accessible as Hive. Can you buy HBD in an exchange? I don't think so (maybe, but I can not access any). This factor alone might prevent a whale or interested parties. Imagine planning to buy $200k worth of HBD at once. How exactly does one go about it? The point I'm driving at is that with a pool like pHBD-USDC, HBD becomes more valuable. If there isn't an exchange to sell it, at least you can pair it and earn yields. For now, accessing unwrapped HBD is a big issue. So the need to grow HBD and also the need to make HBD valuable would make us see a lot of growth in the pHBD-USDC liquidity pool. ___ #### 5M liquidity for pHBD-USDC? = A Super Bullish Polycub ___ Yes, It's quite logical. Polycub would benefit from the increase in pHBD-USDC pool. If it gets to 5M, there would be a lot of money flowing in trades. Volumes will be very high. If that large amount is trading HBD, it would equates to a high revenue for polycub. But there is something called momentum. If after all the hype and shilling and the paid news articles still there arenĀ“t even 300k in the pool, the 5M will never happen (it is actually only a random number, an ambitious goal). And donĀ“t forget, the return in that pool is paid out only in a very speculative Defi coin, not in (p)HBD itself, and only if you bind yourself for 90d (otherwise you lose 50% of the reward). I donĀ“t want to sound negative, but it is fair to bring all the information on the table, not only the good ones.
