44 years in this body: getting clear on why I am here

It was my 44th birthday yesterday so I made sure to go sungazing in the morning and connect myself with Mother Earth, putting out some vibrational requests, clarifying my vision for the future & giving thanks for what I have.

When I returned home I felt like making a list of important aspects I can see in my future. Writing things down often helps clarify the vision and engage the mighty wheels of the Universe in moving towards us that which we seek.

I live in a small village in the south of france which is perfect in so many ways except one. I don't want to live here forever. No need to list the reasons why.

Here are the specifics for where I intend to end up:

- off the beaten track
- in mountains with natural caves
- near running water
- near or in a forest
- rich & nutritious soil, good for growing food
- south facing land upon which we can legally build Earthships
- fruit, nut & olive trees already growing on the land
- the possibility to expand ownership of land as time goes on

When manifesting, the how is not important. Only the what. And the associated feelings.

Feelings are so inadequately described by our basic human words but I will give it a go anyway because the feelings associated with our goals are actually more important than the goals themselves:

- friends & family around me, everyone wanting to help everyone
- abundant food production, plants thriving
- children laughing, playing & learning, many teachers, shared wisdom
- homes working in harmony with Mother Earth, keeping us comfortable in the winter
- natural medicine, natural food, natural systems
- strength & security through wisdom, connection & numbers
- a sense of permanence, completion & a readiness to accept my own mortality

If the life I am describing appeals to you please join me by spending some time in silence, revelling in the joyous feelings associated with this vision. The more minds we have working on this the better! There is no reason why you cannot join us. Focus on the what, not the how. And let me know your intentions so I can reserve you a spot ;)

All my life I have felt some kind of magical positive energy in the number 44. So, now that I am 44 years old, I expect my life to change in many wonderful ways, quickly and decisively. The Universe knows what I am after. And now, so do you.

MMMM. great question..

One thing I would add is to choose  a place where the neighbours are friendly and welcoming, and the local establishment also.. Portugal is good like that....

I would also choose a place with some rainfall.. Running water can be a good backup, but these days the quality of it is often questionable and unknown im most areas except the most rural of areas.. and even then.. i have seen things my neighbours did in the remote jungle upstream of our streams.. and its shocking!  not to mention dead animals and other things that can end up in there and pollute it..

If you are going down the earthship route, having land that has plenty of ground soil /dirt and not too many large stones is very important as you will need a LOT of it to make earthships and its pretty heavy bulky stuff to bring in..  

Ideally, for performance i would choose somewhere that doesn't get too cold with zero sun for weeks or months on end. It makes things very hard in many ways..

Oh yes a real important one.. is choose a place where the local government are supportive and also permit  ecobuilding and off grid living.. It can be a fruitless uphill battle with planning permissions if they dont get it or are not interested in it., contrasted with things being a total breeze if they do. In Brighton when we launched the Earthship project they local council not only voted first time by majority to let us do it, but they also gave us a free leasehold on land of outstanding natural beauty to build it on. Brighton, of course, is an epicentre for the Green party and sustainable issues..
