 I've been playing Alien Worlds for about a week. I stumbled upon the game when @lukestokes [tweeted](https://twitter.com/lukestokes/status/1346278041169879042?s=20) about one of his NFTs being sold by over $100 in [AtomicHub](https://wax.atomichub.io/) the NFT exchange in the WAX blockchain. The team behind the game is the one responsible for the launch of [EOSDac](https://eosdac.io/) and I have to say I am impressed by how they are building this game.  I am not going to describe the details of the game. You can just go to the [webpage](https://alienworlds.io/) and look at the information, read the [whitepaper](https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1JiA97Y3JZMcC6HG2VPXEiZDd7UtA5yJSRUY2DQ5VSRI/edit) or jump into this nice [post](https://leofinance.io/@khazrakh/alien-worlds-is-building-something-huge-and-it-s-still-mostly-under-the-radar) from @khazrakh and get a clear understanding of the mechanics of the game. What I was amazed at was how all the decisions they have been taking to produce, develop, and launch the game have been so well aligned that all I can see is a great success. Let me give you some details.  First, the game has been developed using WAX blockchain, an EOS architecture chain with a DPOS consensus protocol similar to Hive. No fees and fast transactions. Second, they are using an extremely easy onboarding process for non-crypto users, with the [Wallet Wax](https://wallet.wax.io/) service. Third. The game has different in-game NFTs as well as Trillium, their token-based in the WAX blockchain which can also be transferred to Ethereum as they are providing a bridge. Fourth. The NFTs representing in-game land provide income to their owners as other users farm the land to find Trillium tokens as well as other NFTs.  Fifth. The planets will act as DAOS governed by the users staking Trillium in them.  They auctioned the land about a month ago and you can only purchase parcels in the AtomicHub secondary market, the lowest prices are above $200. The token is traded in [Alcor DEX](https://wax.alcor.exchange/trade/tlm-alien.worlds_wax-eosio.token) right now but once the Ethereum bridge is launched you will be able to move it to Ethereum and invest in any of the DeFi services there. In the future, landowners will be able to offer private NFT collections as well as other services to attract farmers to their parcels. I kind of regret not getting in early and that land deal. It's too late now and $220 a land is not worth investing in IMO. Just rent on a low deal.

I also regret it and I know the price is too high right now but considering you get passive income from daily planet distribution, the income you get from mining fees and all the additional features the game will introduce for landowners I have the feeling price will grow much higher.

It has been creeping up (price of the cheapest), but I know someone who owns land and he tells me how much per day passive TRM he gets. It's not enough to justify those prices.
