There was a man who lived in a village, and he was picked out of the crowd one night, by a princess. The princess had not been the same since the man came to the village, he had been to the castle with a food parcel; and it was there that the princess became attracted to him. She often watched him, and in turn he watched her. The two were becoming more and more fascinated by each other. One day the princess decided to invite him to her castle, as her prisoner! When he arrived at the castle she tied him up, and made magic wand appear, and went to talk to him. She listened to his story, and told him she was a princess, and now she could show her love for him; she knew that if she kept him untied, he could try to escape. She needed to bind him. She also knew that others would try to break in; she also knew a child would enter the castle, and try to help him.

One day they heard a noise, and the princess took hold of her wand and went to see what was happening; she found a little boy there but he ran away. The princess returned to the room. She had decided that she could make her prisoner like her, and she used her wand to make him like her, so that he would agree with her. The next day, she went to the room again, to find that the little boy had sneaked in again, and had untied the man. The princess then understood that the boy must have magic in him, and she became a bit worried. The man and the little boy had disappeared. The princess went on the hunt for them, with her wand. She found a ladder, and went up, to find that they had dug a hole in the ground. They had disappeared. The princess was becoming tired and hungry, so she went to get some food to recover. When she came back, she found a big hole in the ground, and the two were gone. She got the attention of her guards and they sent a dozen men down to the hole, but they could find nothing. The princess was very upset, she cried, and cried.

After a long time, she finally grew a little happy, and noticed that she had a lump on her cheek; she had been injured by one of the little boy's spade. The men had found no trace of the two men and the little boy; they did find her trapdoor. They closed the trapdoor down, and sealed it from from the way, as they were very afraid of the evil thing down there.

The man was walking with the little boy, they had not gone very far. They became very hungry and started to walk into a town, where they would be able to get some food. They had not, yet entered the town, when the little boy was picked up by the princess. She was extremely scared and she yelled out, Please, Please! Please don't hurt me I'll do whatever you say! The princess let him down, and he offered his sword to her, so she could use it to protect herself with. The princess, who knew this was magic, told the little boy she knew he was not evil, and she let him down. He told her that he was a prince, and he had been kidnapping her, and he would untie her, and he would tell her where they were going. They went back to where they had left their horses, and the little boy told her they were going to the southern woods. He knew that was a safe place. The princess, who finally became happy had let go of her grief and pain, continued her way in peace.

The little boy took charge of the prisoner, and he was to feed her, and keep her fed. She would have someone to talk to, and he would have someone to listen to him, who he could not feel blue about himself. She became very happy with him, knowing that he was keeping his promise. The two were not going to travel for a long time, but the princess was very happy because she had a friend to talk to, and she also had a slave to take care of.

The little boy was becoming very nice and protective of the princess, who was becoming less cruel and more kind. He was also very supportive, and he was trying to keep her mind off what he called 'the bad times'.
