# Esos cambios duelen

No importa si el sol no sale
 a calentar las mañanas frías,
si calienta las noches a 40 grados,
para impedir el descanso.
 
Sí arrastra la luna entre las nebulosas,
 borrando la estela de estrellas que adornan su cabellera.

No importa si el aire caliente borra las huellas
 que los caminos han guardado, 
esos pasos que nos llevaron a un paraíso forjado con dolor.

No importa que el silencio grite entre las paredes, 
mientras el viento desordena la casa,
 corta las flores y deja correr el tiempo
 como un niño malcriado.

Sí importa,
 que tú voz se pierda entre las penumbras
 de esos rincones que aprisionan nuestros sueños.
Que tú mirada se difumine con el aroma de la tarde 
y excluya mi presencia.

Sí importa cuando la noche divide nuestros cuerpos
 soñando con mundos dispares.
Qué las alegrías, las dosifiquemos entre los amigos 
y levantemos las copas para celebrar el dolor compartido.

Esos cambios molestan,
 van sembrando otros sueños, otras pesadillas.

Sí importa volver a mirar el mismo horizonte
 y volver la mirada a ese universo,
 edificado con nuestros triunfos,
 y desde allí poder reencontrarnos 
entre esos sueños que quedaron pendientes.

# Those changes hurt

#

It doesn't matter if the sun doesn't come out
 to warm the cold mornings,
if it warms the nights to 40 degrees,
to prevent rest.
 
If the moon is dragged among the nebulae,
 erasing the trail of stars that adorn her hair.

It doesn't matter if the hot air erases the traces
 that the paths have kept, 
those steps that led us to a paradise forged with pain.

It doesn't matter that the silence screams between the walls, 
while the wind messes up the house,
 cuts the flowers and lets time run
 like a spoiled child.

It does matter,
 that your voice is lost in the shadows
 of those corners that imprison our dreams.
May your gaze fade with the scent of the afternoon 
and excludes my presence.

It does matter when the night divides our bodies
 dreaming of different worlds.
May we measure out the joys among friends, 
and raise our glasses to celebrate the shared pain.

Those changes are annoying,
 they sow other dreams, other nightmares.

It is important to look again at the same horizon
 and look back at that universe
 built with our triumphs,
 and from there to be able to meet again 
among those dreams that were left pending.
