# La mirada del guerrero

Este rostro soy,
esta mirada, es el espejo que muestro,
allí verán cómo respiro,
el color de mi piel,
de ella emana lo que no tengo,
ver el animal que puedo ser,
son tantas las necesidades
que respiro por la ausencia.

Mi madre permanece en el sueño,
en la tranquilidad del olvido,
mis hermanos juegan con los deseos,
hay una maleta de ellos, tirados en las calles.

La felicidad no es un pan que se reparte,
hay que pelear los cupos.
Esta mirada es mi tiempo,
no puede haber parada en la lucha.

Quiero las noches para dormir,
no para el combate con la vida.
Esto soy,
estos ojos muestran la ventana
que nadie quiere abrir
allí verán mis sueños,
la infancia que no disfruté
el padre que no conocí,
los miedos que caminan conmigo.
No los quiero ahogar con lágrimas.

Por ahora las palabras son mi grito,
uso el tiempo para tejer mis armas.
Esta mirada es mi cuerpo en guardia
preparado para las furias
donde se pierde el niño y emerge el hombre.

# The look of the warrior

This face I am,
this look, is the mirror that I show,
there you will see how I breathe,
the colour of my skin,
from it emanates what I don't have,
to see the animal I can be,
there are so many needs
that I breathe for the absence.

My mother remains in the dream,
in the tranquillity of oblivion,
my brothers play with desires,
there's a suitcase of them, dumped in the streets.

Happiness is not a bread to be shared out,
you have to fight for the quotas.
This look is my time,
there can be no stopping in the fight.

I want the nights to sleep,
not for the fight with life.
This is who I am,
these eyes show the window
that nobody wants to open
there they will see my dreams,
the childhood I didn't enjoy
the father I never knew,
the fears that walk with me.
I don't want to drown them with tears.

For now words are my cry,
I use time to weave my weapons.
This look is my body on guard
ready for the furies
where the child is lost and the man emerges.

¡Hola, @silher! Hacía ya un tiempo que no leía tus poemas. Me gusta el retrato que lográs a partir de esa fotografía tan sugerente, tan llena de dolor y de rabia, ese "cuerpo en guardia", como decís en el poema. Me gustaron sobre todo estos versos tan certeros: "son tantas las necesidades / que respiro por la ausencia". Un abrazo. !LUV
