Trippy Tursday - The Blobulite

Here is another ballpoint pen drawing and a strange story for #trippythursday

Behold the bloated Blobulite.

This thing bubbled up out of the ground near an active volcano.

The pressures of the volcano trapped a guinea pig and mixed it with a strange form of organic metal alloy.

Now the poor guinea pig has the power to form itself into random blobs to crawl around wherever it wants.

It not only eats vegetable but also craves high quality bullion metals like gold, platinum and palladium.

Soon it will realize that human like to trade this shiny metal in centralized stores in the city below the volcano.

It slowly sneaks into the stores at night at eats the lesser iron metal safes the gold is held in before having a dessert of gold.

The store owners caught a glimpse of the Blobulite feasting on their precious safes and tried to retaliate.

They shot lead bullets at it but to the Blobulite lead is like a fine spice and it simply absorbed the lead as a treat.

Now it has grown to epic proportions as it has eaten all the mined precious metals in the earth. Now humans have shifted to trading wooden carvings as a form of monetary value. One day the Blobulite will harden and die. Finally at that point the humans can start mining the carcass and get rich again. But in the meantime everyone is getting good at wood carving skills since no one knows how long the Blobulite will live.
