What's up STACKERS!

It seems that one of the biggest crypto scams in history "Bitconnect" may be coming back in July! 🀦

However, I think it must be a damn joke. They just made a mailing list for their new launch. πŸ˜… You can check out their shitty [website here... ](https://bitconnect.io/)

If you guys remember Bitconnect, it was one of the biggest ponzi schemes ever created in 2017 that promised 1% daily returns on investment.

Until one day, they shut up shop and hundreds of thousands of people lost their life savings. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ 

As a social media influencer with tons of followers (over 100k), I had many people tried to get me into Bitconnect in early April 2017 when it was like under $10. 😲 

However, I had morals and said no to all the crazy "deals" they were all trying to offer me. 

One of my popular social media buddies offered me $10,000 just to get started and help him promote Bitconnect but I just said NO! 

I couldn't put people into something I knew was a scam.

Then a few months later, that one "friend" did make over **2 million dollars** in Bitconnect when I talked  him when he visited Las Vegas.

I felt like shit because I could of did the same thing very easily but didn't... I just couldn't promote something as I knew that most people will lose their money.

So who's the dummy? Was it dumb of me for not taking that offer and making a cool million bucks also? 

I might be... but for that to happen, all the people that I recruited would of lost everything if they invested.

At the end of the day, I'm glad I didn't promote Bitconnect. My name would of been tarnished for life by promoting that scam. 

By the way, the friend who promoted Bitconnect who made millions eventually got black balled from his huge social media following and went into hiding. 😏 

He also lost everything he made in Bitconnect into other crypto scams that eventually got shut down on him also. πŸ™‡ 

I guess karma's a bitch... at least he could of said he was a multi-millionaire for a few months until he lost it all by investing into other similar scams. 🀣 🀦

So there you have it, My little "kinda" hilarious Bitconnect story.

The funny thing about people who get scammed out of a lot of money. They keep falling for it and never learn. There has always been a group saying they where going to launch their own "good version" of bitconnect to recoup their losses. Uh sorry people you mid as well just accept you are out that money. Live and learn I did (in other programs not bitconnect) The SEC either gobbles up every penny in their research and lawsuits that you never end up with anything anyways.

I remember being interested because of the hype and the shillers but when researching it had so many of the signs to be a scam that it became almost obvious!  I wonder how many got out in time unscathed!

You made a good call. Knowingly scamming people out of money is dirt and a low act. There are plenty other ways to make money rather than preying on people who normally don't have the full story. While they should put in the research themselves before investing you would have no luck for doing it.

Shame we can't find a way to bring down all these scams, before people lose lots of money.  Coin Market Cap had lots of Bitconnect adverts.  If they advertise them again, I think we all need to stop using them.  Why can't all the hackers in crypto join forces and stop these sites?
