Mein Roadtrip nach Ostdeutschland
Liebe Leute,
relativ spontan habe ich mich letzte Woche entschlossen, mich ins Auto zu setzen und rauf nach Deutschland zu fahren.
Die erste Station war Dresden. In knapp 6 Stunden inkl. Pausen war ich dort, dank des erfreulicherweise relativ geringen Verkehrsaufkommens. 

Wow, wie beeindruckend die Altstadt von Dresden ist, insbesondere natürlich die (erst 2005) wiederhergestellte [**Frauenkirche**](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frauenkirche_(Dresden))!

Rechts vorne ein Bruchstück, das Februar 1945 nach dem Brand aus der Kuppel gefallen ist und das heute als Mahnmal dient (vor dem Wiederaufbau war ja die Ruine selbst das Mahnmal).

Gut ist zu erkennen, dass viele Originalsteine wiederverwendet wurden. Ein Monsteraufwand muss das gewesen sein, alle Steine des Trümmerhaufens zu katalogisieren und ihren ursprünglichen Ort herauszufinden! 43% der Original-Bausubstanz wurden (teilweise) wiederverwendet. Nur bei der Kuppel wollte man kein Risiko eingehen und dort wurde nur neuer Sandstein verwendet.

Der berühmte, 102m lange [**Fürstenzug**](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C3%BCrstenzug) ist eine Ahnengalerie auf 23.000 Fliesen aus Meißner Porzellan!

Dieser grimmig dreinschauende Krieger bewacht einen Schloßeingang.

Die eindrucksvolle Vorderansicht der **Semperoper** (gegenüber der die Wiener Staatsoper komplett [misslungen](https://www.habsburger.net/de/kapitel/die-versunkene-kiste-der-bau-der-wiener-hofoper-am-ring) ist). Sie wurde nach deren Architekten Gottfried Semper (1803-1879) benannt, der auch das Kunsthistorische und das Naturhistorisches Museum in Wien entwarf.

In der Nähe der Brühl´schen Terasse fand ich dieses interessante Kunstwerk, von dem ich keine Ahnung habe, was es darstellen soll. Eventuell können Ortskundige hier aushelfen?

Ebenfalls ein "Muß" in Dresden ist der sog. "**Zwinger**", einer der wichtigsten Bauten des Barock überhaupt. Er hat nichts mit Tiermisshandlung zu tun, sondern diente als repräsentatives Festareal (mit Gärten, Springbrunnen, Ballsälen, etc.) unter Kurfürst Friedrich August I., bzw. "August dem Starken" (1670-1733). Der prunksüchtige Selbstdarsteller setzte damit ein starkes Zeichen für Dresden - und für sich selbst. Nach seinem Tod wurden die ehrgeizigen Pläne für einen giganten Schlossneubau neben dem Zwinger allerdings aufgegeben.

Leider war dort gerade eine Baustelle, sodass es nicht einfach war, gute Fotos zu machen.


Wenn man von der Altstadt zurückkommt, ist der 1969 eröffnete modernistische DDR-Kulturpalast wie eine architektonische Watsche (Ohrfeige, falls jemand den Begriff nicht kennt), hier ein Detail der Fassade.

Und hier kann man ihn in seiner ganzen "Pracht" bewundern, vom Turm der Kreuzkirche aus gesehen (wenn man zuvor die 261 Stufen raufschafft🤕).

Am nächsten Tag ging es dann weiter hinauf, Berlin wissentlich umfahrend, bis nach **Ueckermünde**, im Nordosten von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Es herrschte strahlendes Wetter, ohne aber zu heiß zu sein (in Dresden war es etwas verregnet).
Hier ein Platz in der Altstadt. Alles sehr nett und beschaulich. Eine komplett andere Welt!

Am "Stadthafen". Die Uecker mündet ins Stettiner "[Haff](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haff)" - eine Art Lagune, die mit der Ostsee verbunden ist.

Nur 3x am Tag klappt die Brücke hoch (die einzige, die den Ost- und Westteil der Stadt verbindet) und lässt Schiffe durch. Da hatte ich richtig Glück, das beobachten zu können.

Ein Highlight der Reise für mich war der Strand am Haff!

Zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben habe ich Strandkörbe in Aktion gesehen. Insgesamt war es aber wohltuend menschenleer (es war vor den Ferien und unter der Woche). Vermutlich ist am Wochenende mehr los.

I had the impression that the city of Dresden had been completely destroyed after the Second World War!  It is impressive and how many beautiful buildings it still has!  Imagine what beauty there would be there, before its bombing!

Du hast die Datsche von Leroy umfahren?

Na sowas! Schaut gut aus der Strand ähnlichbwie die Ostsee um Flensburg. 

Überhaupt ist die Ostsee lieblicher als die Nordsee, wo permanent der blanke Hans pfeifft.

Ja ich finde Dresden auch wirklich beeindruckend. Man redet meistens immer von dem Schloss und das es Nachts wirklich wunderbar aussieht. Ist ja auch so, aber es wird dann oft vergessen wie schön Dresden an sich ist.

freut mich zu sehen das es dich ins deutsche Ländle verschlagen hat 👍
Vor allem auf die größte deutsche Insel! Super Bilder auf jedem Fall!!
Bin selber in 3 Wochen wieder auf Usedom und gleich dannach auch in Dresden
beim "Kaiser Mania Konzert" am Elbufer (Endlich nach 2 Jahren verschiebung)

Übrigens sah ich die fertige Frauenkirche noch nie von innen,
nur als es gerade mal 2 meter über den Boden teilfertig war.... 
und die Steine rund herum lagen....

Welches Smartphone hast dafür verwendet ?

Das Ungleichgewicht bezüglich der staatlichen Investitionen nach dem Mauerfall, kann und darf kein Paradebeispiel mit Wiederholungspotenzial sein. 
Dresden und Umgebung auf Hochglanz zu bringen, mag zwar viel für den Tourismus bringen, doch den Bürgermeister von Herne wird es kaum zum Beifall animieren. 
Ab dem Mauerfall, über den Ramschverkauf der DDR-Wirtschaft und den Solidaritätsbeitrag, bis hin zum schlecht kalkulierten Schritt hin zum gleichen Gehaltsniveau sollte ein Paradebeispiel des Versagens für alle Volkswirtschaftler an jeder Uni dieser Welt sein. 
Hauptsache, Dresden steht in vollem Glanz. Nichts dagegen - doch um welchen Preis für alle?
