🔸 **PASO 2:** Recorta la figura de papel, y utilízala como plantilla sobre el cartón que has seleccionado para marcar toda su silueta. Repite este paso 2 veces, **y siempre procurando que la cara exterior de la piñata corresponda con el lado del carton que esta más limpio.** En la cara que quieras reservar para la parte posterior, has una ventana de 20cm x 20cm, para que una vez ensamblada la piñata, pueda ser rellenada por allí de dulces y juguetes.

> 🔹 **STEP 2:** Cut out the paper figure, and use it as a template on the cardboard you have selected to mark its entire silhouette. 🔸 **PASO 3:** Para ensamblar el cuerpo de la piñata, se necesita una tira de cartón más suave que el cartón que fue utilizado para las 2 caras principales, **tira que debe medir 12cm de ancho y su largo debe equivaler a todo el contorno de la silueta del Pikachu.** Reservar 1cm de cada lado para generar pestañas, y doblarlos en una misma dirección, agregar poco pegamento en el borde y comenzar a uno primero la cara frontal de la piñata.

🔸 **PASO 4:** Deja reposar unos 20 o 30min antes de pegar con pegamento escolar la otra cara de la piñata; **es normal que esta parte del proceso sea un poco mas difícil** porque el cartón de los bordes hará resistencia contra la silueta de la segunda cara. **Para ayudar al cartón a tomar la forma,** aplicaremos un poco de pegamento extra en las uniones, **y meteremos la mano por la ventana que hicimos y ayudaremos a sostener el carton de los bordes desde adentro de la piñata** hasta que seque un poco, para luego hacer lo mismo por toda la circunferencia.

Es importante dejar secar bien el pegamento por unos 30 a 60min antes de manipular el cuerpo de la piñata. En este punto puedes cortar con tijera o cutter los excesos de cartón que no lograste que coincidieran con el borde. **También puedes reforzar las uniones con tiras de papel y pegamento.**

🔸 **PASO 6:** Este es el momento de forrar con papel crepe el reverso y el frente de la piñata. Es importante tensar el papel para que se vea liso, pero no demasiado. Como tenia contado el papel crepe amarillo hice lisa la espalda de la piñata, pero si hubiera tenido dos pliegos mas, lo habría hecho peludito, queda mas bonito.

Se pegan de abajo hacia arriba y para conservar el look caricaturesco escogí el color oscuro. Es importante utilizar poco pegamento para que el papelillo entre capa y capa no se dañe.

🔸 **PASO 8:** Para la figura del frente de la piñata y todos sus detalles, replicaremos  el interior del dibujo junto a todas las pequeñas piezas como las mejillas y los ojos, en varias láminas de cartón finas que pegaremos con poquitas tiras de papel y pega en barra en caso que no sean lo suficientemente grandes. Forraremos todo con el papel crepe del color que corresponda.
