I actually do not have that much to say here except that we overestimate our time on this mortal plain and undervalue those we love and care about. We need to appreciate our mortality AND humanity more.
After an emotionally trying visit I headed home ... and this next photo was taken on a small pass called 'Ou Kaapse Weg' meaning the 'Old Cape Way" ... it does not pay justice to the actual experience.

Love the views you have! I felt a bit special when I for the first time saw the cloud sheet falling of the table mountain when I was in Cape Town the first time back in the late 90s. But this one in your photo is so much closer to what I experienced. You are in a unique geo location, for sure. Is the photo you in your younger years? Or your brother?
