Quienes estuvieron presentes en el partido vivieron una noches espectacular y previo al encuentro se sabía que, aunque difícil el hecho se podía consumar, por lo que las entradas para disfrutar del encuentro entre los Ángeles Lakers vs el Thunder de Oklahoma City subieron su valor e incluso muchos compraron entradas revendidas, para poder ser testigos presenciales de un acontecimiento que parecía imposible de alcanzar.

En esta publicación el autor hará una valoración, sobre uno de los mejores deportistas de todos los tiempos y no me refiero solo al baloncesto, porque lo realizado por LeBron James, sus títulos colectivos e individuales, su calidad deportiva y su vida dedicada al deporte lo convierten como una leyenda viviente del deporte universal.

Cuando en 1989 Kareem - Abdul Jabbar se retiró de la NBA con su mítica cifra de 38387 puntos Lebrón James apenas estaba por cumplir los 5 años de edad, pues su nacimiento había ocurrido el 30 de diciembre de 1984. Lejos estaba de imaginar ese niño gigante que unos años después se convertiría en el líder anotador del mejor baloncesto mundial.

Pero, uno de los elementos más importantes de su carrera deportiva ocurrió este 7 de febrero del 2023, cuando logró romper los 38387 puntos de Kareem Abdul – Jabbar, quien se encontraba presenciando el juego y aplaudió cuando LeBron rompió su mítica marca, para convertirse en el ***máximo anotador en la historia de la NBA***. Lo anterior es algo que ha trasmitido a sus hijos, quizás por eso su intención de alargar su carrera y tratar de jugar junto a su hijo en un mismo equipo, algo que sería algo sin precedente en la NBA y tal vez en la historia del deporte internacional.

LeBron James ha realizado una hazaña muy difícil de alcanzar y, aunque no imposible de lograr por otro jugador, lo cierto es que pasarán algunos años para que otro se acerque a la mítica cifra de puntos alcanzados por este jugador y que, en lo adelante seguirá incrementando porque todavía no ha dicho la última palabra, sobre cuándo dejará de jugar en la NBA. 

Varios comentarios se han suscitado con este nuevo récord alcanzado por el Rey, continúan la polémica, sobre quién es el mejor jugador de la historia o si Michael Jordan es mejor que LeBron James. Este no ha sido el objetivo de la publicación. Lo cierto es que más allá de descifrar los hilos de esta polémica un hecho si es totalmente irrebatible: Lo logrado este 7 de febrero de 2023 por LeBron James constituye uno de los hechos más extraordinarios en la historia del deporte universal.

Ojalá que lo logrado por el Rey sirva para darle un giro a la pobre actuación que está teniendo uno de los tres mejores equipos de la NBA de todos los tiempos, para que se continúe agrandando la historia de este jugador, los Lakers puedan luchar por un puesto en los play off y logre LeBron en esta fase seguir rompiendo récords y haciendo historia.

Those who were present at the game lived a spectacular night and prior to the game it was known that, although difficult, the event could be consummated, so the tickets to enjoy the game between the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder rose in value and many even bought resold tickets, in order to be eyewitnesses of an event that seemed impossible to achieve.

In this publication the author will make an assessment of one of the best athletes of all time and I am not only referring to basketball, because what LeBron James has achieved, his collective and individual titles, his sporting quality and his life dedicated to the sport make him a living legend of universal sport.

When Kareem-Abdul Jabbar retired from the NBA in 1989 with his mythical 38,387 points, LeBron James was barely 5 years old, having been born on December 30, 1984. Far from imagining that giant child that a few years later he would become the leading scorer of the best basketball in the world.

The author recalls in a documentary shown a few years ago the jobs that the boy LeBron and his mother had to go through as a child and the constant moves they had to make in order to survive during his childhood and youth. No wonder the athlete's abiding love for his mother and eternal gratitude for her support.

LeBron James has accomplished a feat very difficult to achieve and, although not impossible to achieve by another player, the truth is that it will take a few years for another to approach the mythical number of points reached by this player and that, in the future will continue to increase because he has not yet said the last word on when he will stop playing in the NBA. 

Several comments have arisen with this new record achieved by the King, continue the controversy about who is the best player in history or if Michael Jordan is better than LeBron James. This has not been the objective of the publication. The truth is that beyond deciphering the threads of this controversy, one fact is totally irrefutable: What LeBron James achieved on February 7, 2023 is one of the most extraordinary events in the history of universal sports.
