Use the Steem-Engine Tokens for Comments Rewarding

While browsing the trending page today I have realized on something that I noticed as well recently on my posts and Feed page.

Not only new posts are less in quantity lately after HF21/22 but also the number of comments has decreased on those posts...
People is curating more than ever, that's great but maybe we are also encouraging them to the minimum most effective operation on the Blockchain right now that is to upvote the so-called "Good content" for some or the most "rewarded" for others, independently of the content inside...

And yes, if anyone wants to be well rewarded by writing comments right now, it looks to be much more difficult, especially knowing that the "rules" of the new Rewarding Curve applies not only on posts but also on comments so, in my opinion, we are incentivizing People to upvote Highly rewarded posts and abandon the "less rewarded" effort of writing an engaging comment and get less curating rewards...

I like engagement, I like to interchange opinions and ideas, I like to reward comments...so, I am upvoting comments anyway, but perhaps I am thinking twice before deciding how much voting power I want to "give"...
A possible solution that I see here in order to "compensate" the new situation is the use of some STEEM-ENGINE tokens designed in order to provide an extra "prize" on a commenter...
This is the case of the BEER Token.
It works simply, you stake some BEERS at your Steem-engine wallet and then you are allowed to distribute some BEER among your commenters. The Distribution Capacity depends on the number of BEERS that you stake, being 6 BEERS the minimum staked amount of Tokens at your wallet for doing the service.

At the time you use the BEER for rewarding a comment you are triggering a double action, "delivering" BEER tokens to the commenter and getting a, still tiny, upvote from @beerlover account.

I think this idea is amazing and I have delegated also some SP for the sake of the project...

@beerlover is still growing in power but I think it has an amazing potential in order to mitigate the current losses on comments.

I've been saying this since the fork and I've been accumulating BEER for that very reason. I've been giving them out.  I think it will help increase the price of BEER as well.  It's amazing how few people still don't know about these type of tokens so with every beer given it's a great chance to educate other steemians.  I say pick a steem-engine token and give it!  !BEER

Interesting thought @toofasteddie. 

I think BEER is a really cool and fun thing on steem. I bought enough yesterday to stake from spare change I had by selling other tokens on steem-engine. 

This seems like a good example of how a community and a free market can solve a problem (monetisation of comments). If people are buying, it has value. If it has value, people will be happy to receive it. If you can give BEER without losing any yourself (by staking), people are happy to give some away. If newbies see BEER flowing all over the place, there might be a buying spree for it as they also want to get involved.

Reddit has something similar with DONUTS in the r/ethtrader subreddit but that was a fad that people lost interest in very quickly. It was just for fun but BEER could actually solve a problem even if it wasn’t originally designed to solve a problem.
